DGA /
DGA is an architectural and
planning practice founded by Pierre
Diener and Pierre Guirard, both
recognized as key players in the
world of tourism and recreation
projects for over 35 years.
Apart from the countless hotels,
tourist residences and other tourist
facilities, DGA has more than a dozen
stations to its credit, some of which
have hosted Olympic events (1992).
They have provided both the design
of the Master Plan and, throughout
the years, the architectural design
of all buildings. All these stations
are economically successful and
provide both satisfactory returns for
their investors and a thriving local
economy that benefits all segments
of the host population.
Not content with drawing up
Master Plans and buildings, DGA
accompanies growth year after
year in those stations where it
originally designed the Master Plan
and continuously receives feedback
from the operators who are also its
clients. Thus, for example, DGA has
delivered this season’s newest Club
Med village in the resort of Valmorel
where it has been active for over 35
years. This is a truly responsible
design which guarantees a unique
experience for DGA’s clients.
As architects, they do not repeat
previous solutions or propose
exact copies based on their past
achievements, instead they take
particular care in giving each station
its identity and image which makes
it perfectly recognizable while fully
respecting international standards
and performance criteria, ensuring
sustainable economic success.
Club Med - Valmorel
Last but not least, DGA is known for
its focus on projects that emphasize
the local, geographical, architectural
and cultural resources of a site and
its host country. They are important
factors conferring identity to each
station, a g ouarantee of his visibility
and therefore its commercial success.

Olympic Resort 1992. La Plagne is the
biggest ski resort in the world.
