Thon Eiendom is the property division of the Olav Thon Group.
The Group’s property business covers approximately 500 properties in Norway and abroad, with a total rental value of approximately
NOK 4.6 billion. 65 % of rental revenue is raised from commercial
premises, including several of Norway’s largest shopping centres.
Thon Eiendom is Norway’s biggest shopping centre operator, with
97 centres stretching from Svalbard in the north to Mandal in the
south, as well as 12 centres in Sweden. Of these, 79 are wholly or
partially owned shopping centres, and 29 are managed on behalf of
external owners. Parts of the shopping centre portfolio are marketed
and managed under the same brand name: Amfi.

centre in terms of sales.
Sandvika Storsenter
Sandvika Storsenter is located in Sandvika in Bærum, and is a
regional centre for the population in the municipalities west of
Oslo. The shopping centre is strategically positioned at a traffic
interchange, and has approximately 7 million visitors annually.
This is Norway’s biggest shopping centre in terms of sales, and
is home to some of the country’s most affluent consumers in
their primary market. The centre is Norway’s best for fashion/
textiles, with wide coverage of the most popular concepts
available today.
In 2010, it was named Norway’s shopping centre of the year and
best shopping centre in the Nordic region.

Lagunen
Storsenter
Lagunen Storsenter is
Bergen's largest
shopping centre.
Lagunen Storsenter is located in Laguneparken in Bergen.
In combination with the various establishments in Laguneparken, the centre has developed into a popular shopping area
for people in Bergen and Hordaland. 130,000 people visit the
centre every week.
The new Bergen Light Rail system opened in June 2013 and its
terminus will be integrated into the centre. The necessary regulatory work required to make significant expansions of the business and service offerings at the centre has been set in motion.
There are few shopping centres that can match the diversity
and breadth offered by Lagunen. With over 50 fashion stores,
the shopping centre is the biggest fashion house in the Bergen
region. Lagunen is Norway’s second largest shopping centre in
terms of sales. The centre was named as Bergen’s best shopping
centre in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

fourth largest shopping
centre.
AMFI Moa
AMFI Moa in Spjelkavik outside of Ålesund is Norway’s fourth
largest shopping centre covering an area of 100,000 sqm and
housing 170 stores. The shopping centre comprises three buildings: Moa North, Moa East, and Moa South, of which North and
South are connected by a footbridge.
AMFI Moa discovered the value of expanding and exploiting
the potential of an efficient customer club early on. With more
than 36,000 members (2/3 of the population of Ålesund), Moa
is a leader in this field in Norway. The centre also has around
26,000 followers on Facebook and uses social media to communicate with its customers.
AMFI Moa has significant plans for refurbishment and expansion, including a new footbridge that will connect Moa East with
the rest of the buildings.

of Norway’s oil capital Stavanger.
Kvadrat
Kvadrat is located in Sandnes and is one of Norway’s largest
shopping centres in terms of both sales and area. The centre
opened in 1984 and has been expanded and updated multiple
times - the most recent expansion was in 2015.
Kvadrat has established a strong position extending far beyond
the immediate area around Sandnes/Sola/Stavanger. There are
162 stores spread across multiple sectors, however clothing/
shoes/fashion is the largest individual industry represented with
around 70 stores. Kvadrat differs somewhat from its competitors,
as its customers are more interested in new products, ranges, and
brands rather than offers.
In 2015 the centre will be expanded to provide 5000 sqm of new
commercial space while the facade will also be renovated and the
15,000 sqm of retail space upgraded.

AMFI Steinkjer is the largest shopping centre in Nord-Trøndelag
county, and is currently experiencing positive growth with
regard to turnover.
AMFI Steinkjer is a regional centre and has established a strong
position in its market area (Nord-Trøndelag county). The centre
is situated alongside the E6, just a 5 minute walk from Steinkjer
town centre and railway station. The former neighbouring shopping centres of Globus and Zebra were combined, expanded and
re-opened as AMFI Steinkjer in 2009. It is the only shopping
centre in Steinkjer.
The centre has a comprehensive selection of stores and has
established itself as an important meeting place with very loyal
customers, in both the primary and secondary markets.

Strømmen Storsenter is strategically located between Oslo and
Oslo Airport, and is in close proximity to public transportation.
The centre has been expanded multiple times, most recently
in 2012 with the opening of 85 new stores. With a total of 200
stores, Strømmen Storsenter is the largest shopping centre in
Norway in terms of number of tenants, and Norway’s third largest in terms of sales.
The centre was named Shopping Centre of the Year in Norway
2015, and has won the Norway’s Best Centre Campaign four
times.
Strømmen Storsenter has a broad mix of stores comprising
both Norwegian and international chains, as well as local niche
stores. It is the region’s leading fashion house with a wide range
of stores within the areas of clothing, shoes, and accessories.

in north Oslo, is the city’s
leading shopping centre
Storo Storsenter
Storo Storsenter, situated in the north of Oslo, has an excellent
location directly beside the Ring Road and with good metro,
tram, and bus connections.
Its position as the leading shopping centre in the Oslo region
was further consolidated when the new Storo Storsenter opened
in August 2010, with a total area of 56,000 sqm. The expansion provided the centre with significant sales growth across all
sectors, and it is now number 7 on the list of Norway’s largest

Ski Storsenter is a commercial and cultural
centre in Ski.
Ski Storsenter
Ski Storsenter is centrally located in the middle of Ski, close
to public transport connections. The centre is home to a wide
range of sectors, from the upscale to the affordable, as well as
offering a large number of services.
Ski Storsenter is Norway’s nineth largest shopping centre. The
shopping centre has received a number of prizes over the years,
including Shopping Centre of the Year and Environmental
Centre of the Year.
The centre has been extended multiple times, and is now home
to a hotel, 8-screen cinema, library, and homes. The centre is
therefore part of a large activity centre for the area as a whole.

The huge Sørlandssenteret is located
just outside of Kristiansand.
Sørlandssenteret
Sørlandssenteret is a regional centre for the counties in Agder
and is located in Sørlandsparken beside the E18, 12 km east of
Kristiansand city centre. The area is a typical car-based regional
centre, and Sørlandssenteret is the single largest operator in
Sørlandsparken.
Sørlandssenteret has been significantly upgraded and extended
in recent years, and in October 2013 the centre was completed it is now home to 195 stores and 110,500 sqm of retail space.
Sørlandssenteret is the largest shopping centre in the Nordic
region in terms of area, and the sixth largest shopping centre in
Norway by sales.

Sartor Storsenter is scheduled for completion in the
autumn of 2016.

Sartor Storsenter is located to the west of Bergen. This area is undergoing huge population growth and has a rapidly expanding business
sector, with particular links to the oil and gas sectors. Major urban development is now underway, and when complete the shopping centre
will be at the core of the new city - Sotra Kystby (Sotra Coastal City).
By locating car parking underground, the area around the centre
will be characterised by wide streets with pavements and bike lanes,
charming pedestrianized areas, and open meeting spaces. A cinema,
numerous shops, restaurants, apartments, service buildings and offices will also be housed here. The centre is being developed in stages,
with the most significant milestone being a partial opening on 20
November 2014. Development of the shopping centre is scheduled for
completion in June 2016. The shopping centre will consist of approximately 140 stores spread across 78,000 sqm.
Sartor Storsenter has long been the second largest shopping centre in
the Bergen region and is the 15th largest shopping centre in Norway.

Charlottenbergs Shoppingcenter is located
just across the Swedish border on national
road 61 in the county of Värmland. In April
2014, a 27,500 sqm extension to the centre
was opened. This centre is home to, among
other things, the largest supermarket in the
Nordic region, with an area of 10,000 sqm.
Töcksfors Shoppingcenter is situated in the
municipality of Årjäng just across the Swedish border beside the E18 road, which is one
of the busiest border crossings. Just 95 km
from Oslo, this is the closest cross-border
shopping centre to the Norwegian capital.
The centre is located in Strömstad, just
across the border at Svinesund. In 2012
Nordby set a sales record of SEK 4 billion,
taking the position as the biggest shopping
centre in the Nordic region in the process.

Sollentuna Centrum is located in Sollentuna,
approximately 10 km north of Stockholm
city centre. The shopping centre is one of
Stockholm’s largest. At the same time, it is

Mirum Galleria is just outside of the centre

expanded and refurbished in 2010.
Mitt i City is located in the centre of
Karlstad, and it is the town’s largest and
most natural shopping and meeting place.
The bus and train stations are just a stone’s
