reach his or her goals in tennis. Within the facility
a partnership between Energy Lab, Hawk-Eye
and Kim Clijsters has resulted in a unique
screening of the performance level, tactics,
strokes and specific fitness wich will benefit both
player and coach.

Energy
Lab, has
designed different on court tests for all players
at all levels. Hawk-Eye tracks your strokes
and movements and high-speed cameras
simultaneously capture all this on video. You
will go home with all the data in the virtual
world of Hawk-Eye, video images and your
personal reports with practical training advice
on a USB device.
Tennis Performance Test
This test screens your tennis specific fitness
with a maximal exercise test on court against
a ball machine with increasing ball frequency.
Lactate and heart rate are monitored. Your basic
aerobic fitness, your ability to recover and your
tennis specific endurance will be determined.
Meanwhile, the way you play and the effect of
fatigue on your stroke quality (precision, speed, spin,
etc.) is recorded by Hawk-Eye.
Price: 350 euro (per person) (2hrs)
Stroke Quality Test
Hawk-Eye evaluates your serve (1st and 2nd) and
your baseline strokes played against a ball
machine. All results are displayed in various
graphs and statistics. You receive applicable
advice for your different shots for all directions
(serve wide or T, cross court, down the line, inside out).
Price: 300 euro (per person) (2hrs)
Match Analysis
Explore your game by the use of objectively
measured results. Your match play is analysed in
real-time through the use of Hawk-Eye. Different
statistics, such as 1st & 2nd serve points won,
quality of return, contact points, court coverage,
etc. are reported and discussed during the end
consultation.
Price: 140 euro (per person) (2hrs)

Nutrition
Dieticians (with IOC diploma of Sports Nutrition) advise
you in finding your optimal nutrition pattern.
These experts work(ed) with top-level athletes
such as Kim Clijsters, Kirsten Flipkens, Tia
Hellebaut, Lotto Belisol cycling team… A DXA
scan is used to analyse your body composition.
It measures among others the amount of
adipose tissue, muscle mass and bone mass in
your body.
Prices: Nutrition Consultation: 75 euro (1hr)

Mental coaching
The Kim Clijsters Sports and Health Club
composes of a team of experts in mental
coaching, under the guidance of Dr. Stijn
Quanten (Koshine Health & Performance). Their
approach differs from the traditional sports
psychology and incorporates mental, cognitive
and neurological training to optimize personal
performance. Dr. Quanten and his team gained
experience in the world renowned Milanlab
(AC Milan) and are currently working for KRC
Genk (1st Soccer Division Belgium) and many other
top athletes.

Holistic Approach
Sam Verslegers has guided Kim Clijsters
throughout her career and has built a
multidisciplinary practice that is incorporated
in the Kim Clijsters Sports and Health
Club. A specialised team brings a holistic
approach to the player programs: osteopathy,
acupuncture, kinesitherapy, pilates, sports
massage, dentist (orthoposturodonty). The common
goal is to keep the body in balance so it can
perform at optimal levels.
