There are more than 450 student organizations at OSU. From civic-minded groups to organizations dedicated
to culture and hobbies, there is something for everyone. Can’t find something that fits? Start your own club!
IT’S
GAME DAY!
It’s an electric atmosphere. Thousands of Cowboy fans, shoulder
to shoulder, get loud and rowdy. OSU Athletics dominates on the
national stage. With 51 national championships (the most in the Big 12
Conference), the dominance of the Pokes is sure to continue.
SEAOFORANGE
It’s a week full of fun, tradition and competition. More than 80,000 people walk University
Avenue looking at intricately designed house decorations that take months of student
planning. Hundreds of students will paint Hester Street with words of encouragement for the
Cowboy football team. It all leads up to the Homecoming game with a packed Boone Pickens
Stadium. Every Cowboy looks forward to returning home to Stillwater.
IT’S TIME FOR
AMERICA’S GREATEST
HOMECOMING CELEBRATION.

FURTHER YOUR STUDIES
The Honors College at OSU, housed in historic Old Central,
is your chance to challenge and grow yourself academically.
Offering small, discussion-based classes taught by some of
the top faculty on campus, The Honors College is a
great experience.
DIG
DEEPER
OSU encourages freshmen to take
part in research from the moment
they step on campus to the time they
graduate. The Freshman Research
Scholars Program offers students
the chance to extend their education
beyond the classroom in topics that
may or may not relate to their major.
CURIOSITY AND HARD WORK IS REWARDED AND MADE
POSSIBLE THROUGH RESEARCH GRANTS AT OSU.
A CULTURAL
CONQUEST
Oklahoma State students have the opportunity throughout the year to
stamp their passport and learn more about the world. Programs, as short
as a week or as long as a year, can be completed while still attending
classes with credit hours that count. Whether it’s Cowboys in Cambridge
or destinations including Brazil, Japan and more, students are spreading
orange across the globe!

REMAINING AMERICA’S
HEALTHIEST CAMPUS!
BE WELL
Sometimes, you need to recharge. We have a program
to fit you! Need a workout? Visit the Colvin Recreation
Center, a 240,000 square-foot complex with weights, rock
climbing, two pools, an indoor track and more. Programs
like the Reboot Center, with stress-relief exercises and
games, and Pete’s Pet Posse, where you can play with a
therapy dog, are good ways to stay on track.
HARD WORK IS THE
COWBOY
WAY
Working while in college is
encouraged at OSU. Students
can make money to help
toward tuition or use as
spending money. You don’t
have to go far to find a job.
We offer on-campus positions
to more than 4,000 students
and employers work with
students to accommodate
their class schedule.
MAKING TIME
TO GIVE TIME
Thousands of Cowboys dedicate their free time to multiple projects every year to better the campus and the
community. Students take part in events including Into the Streets, a communitywide cleanup program, or
Dance Marathon, a 24-hour event to raise money for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Cowboys care about
making the world a better place!
