Whipstock Mills HPOGC whipstock mills used in sidetracking have API IF connections and are dressed with crushed tungsten carbide particles and tungsten carbide Viper inserts for fast cutting of all grades of casings. Design Advantages & Benefits: In combination with the hook up to the whipface the unique shear screw system allows the mills / BHA to pivot in relation to the whipstock, allowing added strength for torsional or tensile loads while running, thus preventing premature shearing of the bolt. The spherical shape enhances uniform transition of mill traveling from inside of the casing through the critical “midpoint” to outside without fail or problems.
