möglich, wenn Salzburg den Sommer feiert.

countryside. After all, the Salzkammergut region and the
adventure playground known as `The Alps`begin just outside the city limits. Dive into crystal clear lakes or recharge

visit Salzburg in the wintertime experience as many magic

On those quiet days there are the joys of retreating to one
of the legendary coffee houses or a stroll down the brightly

a glass construct combining haute cuisine catering with a

Zugegeben, viele Städte behaupten von sich, besonders
„musikalisch“ zu sein. Aber wir sind es wirklich! Denn immerhin sind unsere berühmten „Salzburger Festspiele“ der
Sommer-Hotspot für Kultur-Reisende aus aller Welt. Doch
wir können auch anders: Ganz ohne Mozart und all die anderen alten Meister präsentieren sich zum Beispiel unsere
Jazz-Festivals in Salzburg-Stadt oder Saalfelden. Wer „Musi“
lieber zünftig mag, lauscht vielleicht lieber den unzähligen
Trachtenkapellen, die auf den Volksfesten im Umland aufspielen. Und dann wäre da noch die Familie Trapp und ihr
legendärer „Sound of Music“, der bis heute in den Gassen
der Stadt und im gesamten Salzkammergut erklingt.

over the world. But that`s not all. Even if we disregard Mozart and all the other old masters, there are two great jazz
festivals in the city of Salzburg and Saalfelden. For fans of
alpine `Volksmusik`there are countless traditional groups
playing at the many city, town and village fairs held in the
region. Then of course there`s the Trapp family and the legendary `Sound of Music`, the sound track to which can
still be heard all around the lanes of the city and the entire
Salzkammergut region.
