Rusty’s history :
R
usty company was founded in 1985, by Rusty Preisendorfer,
15 years after he shaped his first board, when he left the
Canyon Surfboards label to create his own branch. Thanks to
Rusty’s already established reputation, the popularity of his new
brand quickly grew among the public and especially among the
professionals, with such famous names like Chris Ward, Taylor
Know and Clifton James Hobgood. Since then, Rusty always been
at the edge of innovation in shaping industry, and have been
one of the first to experiment new materials like carbon, eps
(extracellular polymeric substance) and epoxy.
