INDEPENDENT STRUT SUSPENSION
Have the confidence to take on the task of transporting a load, or enjoy a drive
off-road as the MULE 4010 TRANS4x4 side x side can do both with the support of an
independent MacPherson strut-type suspension in the front and DeDion suspension
in the back. Whether it’s loaded or not, the MULE 4010 TRANS4x4 absorbs the
bumps and obstacles so you don’t have to.
SEALED BRAKE
Power is important, but so is the ability to slow down and stop. All Kawasaki MULE™
4010 and 4000 side x sides are fitted with sealed, hydraulic drums on all four
wheels. The triple-ribbed seals on each drum help to keep mud, dust and water out
while keeping braking power at its best.
PRECISION FUEL-INJECTED POWER
The Kawasaki MULE 4010 and 4000 side x sides are powered by a legendary fuelinjected 617cc 90-degree, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that delivers ample torque. The
Digital Fuel Injection (DFI®) determines how much gas is needed based on input from
various sensors so power is always crisp and responsive when you need it.
CAPABLE DRIVELINE
When switching from rough to smooth terrain, you can change from 4WD to
2WD with the pull of a lever. You also have the option of a dual-mode locking
rear differential when added traction is needed. Also equipped is a responsive
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that features high and low gears as well
as neutral and reverse.
SPEED SENSITIVE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS)
Electric Power Steering (EPS) comes standard on the Kawasaki MULE 4010 4x4 and
MULE 4010 TRANS4x4 side x sides. The EPS provides maximum steering assistance
for effortless handling at low speeds, or when stopped, and reduced steering
assistance at higher speeds. The EPS also acts as a damping unit to compensate for
bump steer, so any kickback from the wheels is reduced by the time it reaches the
thick, over-wrapped steering wheel.

and hour meter keep you informed and are easy to read. The cab also has a horn
and a 2WD/4WD lever mounted on the dash for easy access. The parking brake
and coolant temperature warning lights are easy to see and the steering wheel has
a sporty yet comfortable grip making this MULE™ side x side fun and user friendly.
COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE
Every Kawasaki MULE 4010 4x4 comes standard with a steel brush guard for
extra front-end protection in rough conditions because you never know what lies
ahead. Under the hood is 15.85 gallons of useful storage space so you can take
whatever you need with you for the task at hand. The dashboard is equipped
with two handy glove boxes and cup holders on each side. The sturdy chassis
includes mounts for future winch installation, if desired.
CONVENIENT TO MAINTAIN
Easy access makes routine maintenance simple. The oil dipstick and filler tube
can be reached under the seat and a cyclone-type engine air cleaner has a meter
to indicate when the filter needs to be replaced. Lastly, an automotive-style fuse
box is easily accessible and uses blade-type fuses for quick replacement. Easy
maintenance means fewer trips to the service department, and dollars saved.

The heavy duty steel cargo bed of the MULE 610 4x4 side x side is
secured by a steel tailgate with durable steel latches, and can hold up
to 400 pounds. The cargo bed also tilts for easy access to the engine.
DEPENDABLE POWER
The MULE 610 4x4 may be compact, but it packs a powerful punch.
The 401cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine has enough
gusto to work till you drop. This MULE side x side is lightweight yet
consistent with a powerful and durable motor–all while being small

PLUSH COMFORT

and dual (high and low) forward ranges, plus reverse to complement an
efficient and smooth Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). It is also
equipped with a dual-mode locking rear differential that can be locked
for maximum traction on harsh terrain or unlocked to minimize ground
disturbance for turf applications such as stadiums or groomed properties.
