ONE WEEK Important details... THIS SUMMER COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE Travel days are Thursday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 30. Plan on arriving by 4:30pm on the 24th. The closing session will be at 7:30pm on May 30th. Tucson has a conveniently close airport. Please check with Sr. Lupita before finalizing any airline reservations. AN INVITATION FROM THE BENEDICTINE SISTERS OF PERPETUAL ADORATION There is no cost for the week. Space is limited to 10 participants. Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. Past participants have this to say: “It was a good balance of prayer, work and rest.” What to bring... • For clothes - please bring something nice for Sunday. The rest of the week slacks, skirts or jeans may be worn in chapel. • Bring your own toiletries. Bedding and towels are provided. • A Bible and journal if you have one. • Plan not to use your cell phone except for emergencies. Leave your busy schedule behind and enter into “Wonderful! I felt very at home.” “Excellent. I had a lot of fun and had time for peace and quiet!” “I enjoyed it very much very peaceful - just what I needed.” Monastic time where the day flows around chanting Psalms, Eucharist, simple work, and seeing God in the ordinary. Share in our daily life for a week May 24 - May 30, 2012 What will it be like? Beginning at 6:30am you will join us four times each day to chant the Psalms. You’ll participate in our daily Mass and prayer of Adoration You’ll have time for personal prayer, reading, relaxing and spiritual conversations You’ll meet others who are searching You’ll receive input on prayer, discernment and Benedictine spirituality You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and hear sisters’ stories You’ll experience our community meals and recreation You’ll experience peace and a renewed sense of God’s presence at work in your life.
