Mattel, in cooperation with the United
States Consumer Product Safety
Commission is voluntarily recalling a
number of Polly Pocket!™ and Doggie
Daycare™ playsets containing small
powerful magnets. The magnets inside
these dolls and accessories may fall
out – undetected to parents and
caregivers.

The magnets can be swallowed, aspirated by young children or placed in their ears or nose leading to
potentially serious injuries to children who swallow more than one magnet. Magnets placed in the
nose or ears can cause swelling and be difficult to remove.
Please check your home, play areas and toys for any loose or liberated magnets—remove these from
the reach of children. Discontinue use of magnetic playsets matching these descriptions and use this
guide to determine if they are affected by this recall. Full color images of every product are included on
subsequent pages. Use these images as a guide to identify the products you own.
Affected Polly Pocket! ™ fashions and other accessories have magnets that are visible from the
backside of the part, appearing as a small silver button. Unaffected fashion pieces will have a white
coating over the magnets as shown below. The accessories which came with these fashions are also
unaffected. These magnets may have a clear or colored coating or cover.
