and your RCI ® Subscribing Member benefits to enjoy other
great vacation experiences.
STEP 1:
Deposit your week
As soon as you know you want to
try a new destination for your next
vacation, deposit your week. You can
deposit your week up to two years
in advance of its start date or as late
as 14 days before the start date.
Depositing your week as soon as
possible generally gives you more
options and more time to plan.
Depositing early helps increase your
vacation options. Even if you’re not sure
exactly what you’d like to do or where
you might like to go, deposit your week.
Your travel window could give you up
to three years to take your vacation.

want. We’ve provided you with a
Vacation Planning Worksheet to help
you consider all the possibilities.

When you know the type of vacation
you want, an RCI Vacation Guide or
the new enhanced search features on
RCI.com can help you find an available
resort that will offer you the vacation
experience you’d like to enjoy. Sometimes
a match for your request is available
immediately. If not, start a convenient,
personalized search for the vacation
you want. Your request will be compared
against newly deposited weeks as they
enter the exchange system every day.
Once you initiate a search, your work is
done. There’s no need for you to check
on the status of your request; we contact
you as soon as a match is found.
Depositing a FIXED week
If you own a vacation week that is for the
same unit and week each year, it’s called a
fixed week. To deposit your fixed week, log
on to RCI.com and follow the directions, or
call +65 6223 4333 to speak with an RCI
Vacation Guide.
Depositing a FLOATING week
If you own a vacation week that changes from
year to year, it’s called a floating week. Start
by calling your resort’s reservation center and
ask for your vacation week assignment. Then,
once you’ve confirmed with your resort, you
can deposit your floating week with RCI. Call
an RCI Vacation Guide at +65 6223 4333,
or request that your resort deposit your week
on your behalf.
Maintenance fees
Remember, maintenance fees must be paid to
your home resort before you can deposit
your week.
STEP 3:
Confirm your exchange, then
enjoy your vacation
Once the system has found a vacation to
match your search, you’ll exchange your
deposited week either online or with a
Vacation Guide to close your search and
complete the transaction. You’ll receive
an email confirmation from us, verifying
the resort and your check-in date.
Focusing on the experience first,
rather than a specific destination or
resort, will afford you many more
options. Use this Directory to gather
information on all RCI affiliated
resorts and possible destinations. Go
online at RCI.com and find additional
details, pictures and member reviews
of resorts you’re interested in.

Tips from the
RCI Vacation
Guides
Every RCI Vacation Guide will tell you it’s important to plan
early, be flexible and request a comparable exchange.
Plan early
Make sure to deposit your week and request an exchange as early
as possible. Starting early helps increase your vacation options.
Be flexible
First, think broadly about the vacation experience you’d like to
enjoy. The more options you’re open to, the more likely you are to
find a great vacation more quickly. Remember that RCI Subscribing
Members from around the world are continually depositing their
vacation weeks into the RCI exchange system, while other RCI
Subscribing Members from around the world are exploring their
vacation options and requesting an exchange. The more choices
you can consider, the more likely you’ll find a match.
Request a comparable exchange
Exchanging may be easier when you request something
comparable to the vacation week you already own. So if you
deposit a two-bedroom, it’s advisable to request a two-bedroom
unit (or even a smaller one). If you deposit a one-bedroom unit,
request a one-bedroom or studio unit, and so forth. Our goal
is to provide all members with exchange vacations that are
comparable to the weeks they own and deposit into the system.

The RCI Weeks exchange system allows all members
to deposit and exchange a week two years in advance
of the start date of the week you own.
The RCI ® Weeks exchange system allows all members to travel
up to one year before the start of the week they own, or as
long as two years after that week, creating a three-year travel
window. If you extend your deposit for a small fee, you also
extend your travel window up to one additional year.

You must deposit your week no later than 14 days
before the start of your week to be eligible for an exchange vacation.

For that week in May 2011, you can travel up to one year
before, starting May 2010 or travel as long as two years
after, through May 2013. If you extend your deposit, you
