New Suntuf™ Diffused.
THE NUMBER ONE BARRIER AGAINST SUN, WIND
AND RAIN SINCE 1987
1987 was a great year for New Zealand. That’s the year Hayley Westenra
was born and Peter Jackson hit the big screen for the first time. The All
Blacks won the Rugby World Cup. And we said no to nuclear.
It was also the year Kiwis stared using SUNTUF™ Polycarbonate Sheeting
to protect themselves and their homes come rain, hail and shine.
Over twenty years on and SUNTUF is still the preferred polycarbonate
sheeting.
Hardly surprising when you consider that SUNTUF lets in the light but
cuts out 99.9% of the harmful UV rays that are so much a fact of New
Zealand life.
It’s perfect for verandahs, gazebos, conservatories or anywhere you want
to enjoy the sun without the burn.
SUNTUF is equally at home in the winter chill. The polycarbonate’s
unbreakable qualities can stand up to hail or even hammer blows.
SUNTUF comes with a performance, or replacement guarantee for the
first ten years. And the limited lifetime warranty guarantees to loss of
light transmission of no more than 8% in the first ten years, and no more
than 1% for every year after.
Suntuf™ Diffused

NOISE REDUCTION TAPE
Bend me - Shape me
Noise Reduction Tape to reduce the creaking to your roofing. This can
be caused when the roofing moves over the purlins with changes in
temperature. For the best results apply the tape of the top of the purlins
before the roofing is installed.
For use on SUNTUF Polycarbonate, Tufclad Ultra Polycarbonate,
Sunlite PVC and Twinwall Polycarbonate Sheeting.
Being virtually unbreakable, SUNTUF
offers great design flexibility.
You can curve along the corrugations or
across if the radius of a curve is 4000mm
or greater, SUNTUF can be curved
longitudinally.
Noise Reduction Tape is weather resistant and will not chemically
react with the roofing.
How high do you want to go?
Because it’s very light, SUNTUF Polycarbonate sheeting can be used
in any number of structures, and at practically any height, covering
verandahs, pergolas, conservatories, gazebos, carports, spa pools or
greenhouses. It can even be used on fences, windbreaks or as skylights
in garages, garden sheds and farm buildings.

SUNTUF is approximately 250 times stronger than standard glass.
For the duration of it’s life, SUNTUF is guaranteed not to break from

working with it, cutting sheets is easy with a wider variety of cutting

HANDLING & STORAGE
SUNTUF sheets should be handled with care to avoid any
unnecessary scratches prior to installation. SUNTUF™ should be stored on
a flat surface away from direct sunlight. When stacked together this will
prevent possible magnification of the sun’s rays through the top sheets
which may cause distortion of the lower sheets. Prevent moisture getting
between stored sheets.
SUNTUF will continue to look new when it is washed down regularly with
a soft sponge and warm soapy water. (When moving about on top of

SUNTUF Polycarbonate Sheeting has a low flammability rating
and does not release strong toxic gases when burning. SUNTUF
Polycarbonate Sheeting has been BRANZ tested to AS1530.
Warranty details
SUNTUF’s new lifetime warranty equals 25 years against loss of
light transmission (23% reduction) along with a 15 year hail &
breakage warranty. Suntuf meets the NZBC durability & performance
requirement of 15 years if installed & maintained as per instructions
as manufacturers recommendations. The best warranty package for
transparent/translucent polycarbonate corrugated roofing in NZ.
