Disabling Wireless on a Linksys Router
The steps for disabling the wireless feature on
all Linksys routers are very similar.
Step 1:

Open a web browser and type in this
address: http://192.168.1.1 (Fig. 1).
Step 2:
Unless you have previously created a custom
username and password, enter admin into
the username field and admin into the
password field and click OK (Fig. 2).

Step 3:
Click Wireless (Fig. 3).

Step 4:
Open the Wireless Network Mode drop-down
menu and select Disabled (Fig. 4).

Step 5:
Click Save Settings (Fig. 5).
You have now turned off the wireless
[Fig. 5]
function on your router.
