This structure is unique. The highly futuristic white stage
covering comes in two gigantic sizes (29 x 32m and 23 x 19m)
and lends every musical event extra ambience. The membrane
roof is a stunning design and with approaching visitors seeing it
rise from its surroundings. The shape of De Boer’s Bandshell
ensures excellent acoustics as sounds are reflected optimally
towards the audience. This makes the Bandshell the perfect
choice for all musical events.
CONVENIENT AND NO FLAPPING
The aerodynamic roof and the tautness of the material reduce
flapping of the fabric to an absolute minimum, so the likelihood of
disturbing extraneous sounds is virtually non-existent. The fabric
is opaque so the stage can be lit perfectly, a feature crucial for
television filming, so when the sun shines, the light is kept as
much as possible off the performers. The Bandshell has peak
ventilation allowing hot air from lamps and amplifiers to dissipate
through the openings in the roof.
QUALITY AND SAFETY
Typical of all De Boer accommodation is the integrity and safety of
all the materials and structures used. Structures meet stringent
European requirements, including the German DIN standards. All
materials meet the highest European standards for fire safety. All
structures are wind tested. In this way De Boer ensures not only
