Start out with a wine cart containing 12 bottles of wine donated by Friends of the Dining in the Pines™ Committee, The Sandhills Winery and The Wine Cellar and Tasting Room to start a casual wine tasting picnic (wine opener included)! Not enough wine, then the Triangle Wine Company has donated a gift certificate for some more. There is also a generous gift certificate from Fresh Market for appetizers, cheeses and snacks along with 19 gourmet food items from various shops around the area that will have you prepared for a great afternoon of entertaining family and friends! The wine cart also holds 12 acrylic wine glasses, an acrylic ice bucket, cocktail napkins, and two wooden wine trays. Gourmet items include Green Coconut Iced Tea, Spiced Pear Tea, Sea Salt and Olive Crackers, Cheese Crisps, Jalepeno Jelly, Sweet Fig Onion Jam, Elderflower Cordial, Lavender Syrup, Nellos Sauce, Bowtie Pasta, Big Tom Bloody Mary Mix, Carolina Gold B-B-Q Sauce, Cactus Creek Coffee, Lemon Curd, White Apricot Vinegar, Artichoke Lemon Pesto, White and Black Truffle Oils, Chapel Hill Toffee and Sugar and Spice Muffin Mix. Bringing Maine to North Carolina! Lobster & Clam Bake for Ten! Lobster & Clam Bake for Ten! (July/August 2016) Get ready for four pounds of soft-shelled Maine lobsters per person, steamed clams, mussels, and shrimp accompanied by fresh corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes, potato salad, cole slaw, beer, white wine, mint iced tea, and for dessert, homemade strawberry and peach pies topped high with whipping cream. All presented in picnic style and served at your home with all the lobster tools and supplies you will need for a fantastic feast! Lobster crate is stuffed with lobstah “crackahs”, lobster miniature forks for claw meat, mallets, picnic tablecloths, napkins, plates, lobster bibs, bowls, cups, corn holders and end picks, tote bag, etc. Decorating the tables, set-up, cooking and clean-up are provided! Gumbo Dinner for Eight! “Laissez les bons temps roulez.” Authentic Cajun chicken and andouille sausage gumbo dinner with traditional sides of rice, potato salad and French bread. Eight gumbo bowls, several cookbooks on Louisiana cooking, a plaque with the words, “Gathering of Family & Friends,” a lovely fall wreath, two packages of autumn napkins and candles complete the basket! In 2009 Mary Williams of Pinewild made this beautiful quilt, which won the blue ribbon at the Quilting in the Pines Show that September. The quilt involved both hand and machine quilting. The predominant color is blue with accents of navy, white and gold and has an Asian feel to it. It also has embroidered motifs in the border. It is a Debbie Bowles Design. The wall hanging is 45 ½” wide and 56 ½” long. Included with the quilt are two rods; a decorative rod for hanging as well as an invisible rod.
