Many of you have expressed an interest in seeing a return of Annin & Co.’s
Celebration flag line. In response, we will be offering a limited selection of
designs. Most of our offerings are brand new designs but we have brought
back a couple of old favorites as well. We are going to be producing these
flags in response to customer demand so please place your orders by the dates
indicated below and keep your Celebration Flag orders separate from other
stock orders to help us expedite the handling of them. All flags are 3x5 ft. NylGlo. Ship dates shown are approximate.

Introducing The History of
American Flag Making
As part of Annin & Co.’s 160th Anniversary Celebration
we have produced a DVD that chronicles the history
of the American Flag since its origin in 1777. This
brief history covers the evolution of both the design
of the flag and manufacturing methods throughout
the decades. The DVD is entertaining and informative
with a running time of approximately 14 minutes.

The Flying
Padre of Iraq
Father John Quinn, known as “The Flying Padre of Iraq” is the
Chaplin of the 4th ID Battalion in Iraq. Fr. Quinn flies all over Iraq
conducting church services for our troops. Iraq does not permit
the US flag to be flown on Iraqi soil but Fr. Quinn carried his
Annin U.S. flag on 13 combat missions before returning it to the
Knights of Columbus chapter in Birmingham, Alabama that had
donated it to him.
He is shown here in a Black Hawk helicopter returning to his base,
just North of Taji, Iraq.
