Ventilation Comfort 2002 Comfort is the key Environmentally friendly and effective ventilation systems are in demand more than ever before, and when planning such systems these days human comfort is a far more important factor than it used to be. Comfort is the key to helping people work optimally, and this makes great demands on both our products and their effectiveness. Thanks to many years of highly focused product development and ongoing dialogue with customers, Lindab has made a significant impact on developments in the ventilation industry. Our product range, which is sold under the name LindabComfort, comprises units for both mixed and displacement ventilation systems. An exact calculation of the resulting velocity in the occupied zone can be performed using a data program (please contact the sales department). When supplying air upwards, the maximum velocities in the occupied zone depend on the temperature difference ti - tr . The best results can be achieved by using the maximum supply volume per metre of pipe in accordance with the table on page 302. Depending on the thermal load (W/m2) and duct distance, an estimated maximum speed in the occupied zone can be found in the diagram below. 4 5 6 Maximum velocity in occupied zone.
