This Friday the 13th, to start of the
new Libertine Supersport Night, we are
honored to welcome one of the best
Dj / Performers of this planet... Having
been on the Berlin club circuit since the
early 90's, Dixon established his name on
the strength of djing, playing for hours,
as he loves every moment of it. Starting
out low, slow, unfolding the f low, working
towards a peak, then working towards another, turning up, turning down, to find the
exact point from which to swing moods, to
find the perfect way to end what should be
a lasting experience. Being famous for his
skills, it is with no surprise that he's been
asked to put his selections on the so good
compilations, as the 'off limits' ones, or on
Get Physical label's Body Language series,
and more recently on the 'Live at Robert
Johnson vol.8'. His mixed Cds have inspired
people all over the world. Dixon has never
looked for fame, or to be fashionable... he
loves the sound of house, melodies and to
travel with music... and, when the reign of
minimal gained the club scene as much as
house lost it, Dixon came to the conclusion
that there had to be a way to maintain
his preferred sound while so many djs
and artists were reducing the musical
ingredients of their output. He decided take
the next step creating the Innervisions
Record Label, which he founded with Âme.
It was clear from the beginning that this
label was intended to make a difference.
It was a platform that was thought of to
keep up the house tradition of all those
involved and who have stayed so faithful to
it over the years, but it was also meant to
breathe some fresh air into it with artists
like Âme, Henrik Schwarz, Culoe De Song...
There's no need to say much more, I guess
you've understood that you can't miss
out on Dixon, considered as the best house
DJ of the moment. This guy has the balls
to play some music that maybe other DJs
wouldn't in a prime time set... Close your
eyes and get ready for a musical travel.

TODD TERJE
NORMWAY / SMALLTOWN SUPERSOUND
Is it house, funk, techno or disco? Following a string of celebrated releases leaning
on everything from kitschy euro sounds to
deep funk and latin jazz, the relatively new
to the scene Todd Terje has already made
his mark within dance music circuits. Gems
such as the cheese monster "Eurodans"
and the latin disco-fuelled edit of Jacko's
"Can't Help it" under his Tangoterje editmoniker instantly made industry types and
clubbers alike go bananas, and whatever
the 25 year old Norwegian puts his fingers
on, it always comes out with that crucial
blend of musicality and playfulness. Listen
to one of our favourite tracks he made
in 2008, Dolle Jolle - Balearic Incarnation
(Todd Terje Rmx), or this other one "Snooze
4 Love", Terje speaks of catchy rhythms,
dubby sounds, dreamy synth layers,
cinematic moods, a playful approach and
searching for that one nerve when asked
to describe his music, and the resistance
to being pigeonholed is obvious. His next
ambition is to make a concept album
ala Voyage's first "around-the-world"
release, if he can find time between other
projects, studies and DJ gigs. Terje has
already played around Europe, and is
looking forward to gigs in Japan and NYC
this summer. "I both like playing big room/
macho style, but at the same time it's
the girls I play for really. So I guess it's
a mixture of high octane, leather homodisco done up with mambo, coconuts and
lipstick". With tracks like "Ragish", "Inspector Norse", Todd Terje is definitely one to
look out for. "Girls, stay in line please!"

Punks Jump Up may not mean anything
to you but they have done remixes for Tiga,
Lykke Li, Gossip, Yelle, Kele, Crystal Castles,
Ladytron, Chromeo... It's only a few years
back that Joe, a born & bred Londoner
& David, a Swede just off the boat, had
bumped into each other on several occasions, mainly to do with music, style
& anything visual that looked cool. They
both come from a background of punk &
dance music, street art, fashion & style
all wrapped up in DIY ethos. In between
the constant touring to pretty much
every country in Europe, Australia, South
America, Hong Kong, Jakarta & Singapore,
they have been relentlessly working on
new music. 2011 was a very busy year as
they released the track Chimes pt 1, a big
success entering charts, and later on, a
track called "Get Down" (Special CCCrash
Mixxx), which PJU describes as their modern
homage to Prince, Trax Records & Yello.
Released on Kitsuné with remixes from
Alex Gopher, Deadstock 33s, JBAG, Zero Cash
& Fare Soldi, Get Down (Special CCCrash
Mixxx) also features on Kitsune Club Night
Mix. The latest release is a song called "Mr
Overtime", which features the golden voice
of no other than Dave1 from Chromeo, for
which Brussels wonder kid Mickey did a
remix that was featured as an exclusive on
one of The Magician's mix tapes. No doubt
that you will hear more about these 2, and
have fun with them in the Libertine Room.
At an early age Mickey already got hooked
to the more interesting sounds of the 60',
70's and 80's, never losing track of all the
hot music that is being released today.
Some 10 years ago he decided to start
producing his own sounds and this soon led
to his first release on Relish Records. Being
charted by The Magician in his 'Magictapes'
has helped put the spotlight on Mickey in
recent years. DJ bookings over Belgium and
beyond followed, highlights being gigs in
New York (Nouveau York Party), Hollywood
(Dim Mak Studio), China & Australia, whilst
landing a Belgian residency at Libertine
Supersport club in Brussels.
As a producer Mickey has fast become
a force of his own. Playing all instruments himself Mickey has already done
some song writing for other bands and
continues to grow as a producer. After
his first E.P. he surprised the world with
killer remixes for Housse de Racket on
Kitsune, Headman, Tyson & Beni (on
Modular). Recently he released an E.P. on
the inf luential Belgian Smile label and
he is already working on a follow-up for
that one. Both as a producer and as a DJ
Mickey's sound is a combination of house,
pop, disco and a lot more, more and more.

been remixed by Canadian house sensation Jeremy Glenn and by Black Strobe.
Beginning of this year, he decided to start
his proper solo project under his own
name A.N.D.Y. For 2012 A.N.D.Y. plans loads of
releases and remixes, because Andy is on
a mission, a vintage mission aimed at the

As a kid A.N.D.Y. a.k.a. Andy Faisca didn't
have to think what he would like to be
when he grew up... Music was and is the
answer! From a very early age this multiinstrumentalist was writing and making
his own music. With a background of 70's
and 80's disco, pop, hip hop and rock
music Andy is a fanatic of all things past,
turning them into music for the future.
His love for the past is ref lected in an
almost religious use of old analogue gear,
but also a general love for vintage stuff.
At age 17 Andy discovered electronic music
and started DJ'ing. He soon landed playing
regularly at Libertine Supersport club and
his quest for a vin- tage personal sound
hasn't stopped since. His first project
ATTAR!
Christoph has been interested in electronic sounds ever since he can remember
hearing music. Just to be clear, yes, this
was mainly cheap mainstream dance music, but unfortunately, Burial and Nico Jaar
were still hiding in the abyss of electronic
music genius. At the age of 16, his brother
brought him to the Dirty Dancing parties
in Mirano/Brussels. Lovely idea. Chris loved
chasing girls on the turning dancef loor
but he soon wanted more. He wanted to
responsible for all this magic, this screaming, this crying...And since he didn't have
enough money to buy himself a nightclub,
he decided he wanted to be a DJ, fair
enough. One year later, together with his
childhood friend Ben Marzys, Wirspielen
was born, and they were playing their first
tune in front of this very same crowd as
Resident DJ's until the end in 2009. Homeless? Not for long.
A new story began with the Libertine
Supersport opening. Under his moniker «
Lefrog » (something to do with his way
of dancing apparently) Christoph got
involved in the bookings and the general
promotion together with Renaud Deru and
Lorenzo Serra. 2 years of Madness, 2 years
where Christoph rolled up his sleeves and
took his role to heart (mainly drinking
and partying). Today, Lefrog's love to see
people smiling and dancing on his fine
contemporary selection is authentic. Call
it house, deep house, or even ...

ATTAR! (say "Attari"), that's the solo project of Renaud Deru, a DJ, a producer who
dedicates a true passion to music and the
emotions it can create. He proved his knowhow through many remixes and original
tracks, among other things with the band
Mustang and through the thousands of
hours he spent in control of parties, either
as a DJ or as an artistic director for the
two best Belgian clubs of... the last decade...
Going through trends and refusing etiquettes, his style is eclectic and all musics
are good for him as long as they have a
positive effect on others. Here is the story
: Once upon a time, in the town of Brussels,
there was a young man who thought that
people were bored stiff. In 2003 he decided
to make things change by organizing the
Dirty Dancing parties. He invited there the
best artists and all the town poured into
his club to celebrate and find pleasure in
the company of others. Then, he created
the Libertine Supersport and history
repeated itself. In 2009, with a solid festive
experience, and recognized as one of the
best DJ's of his generation, he started production and been part of the band Mustang.
During more than three years he travelled
to different places in the world to bring
there a festive mood and exaltation by
playing his own productions and remixes
for Vitalic, Morcheeba, Two Doors Cinema
Club, The Japanese Popstars, Arnaud Rebotini, Crystal Fighters... Today, in solo, Renaud
is ready to go on the roads again and bring
a festive excitement everywhere... ATTAR!

Rick Shiver is a truly eclectic dj, he
seamlessly spins a broad range of new/
old sounds and styles geared towards
one thing - getting the crowd to move.
Perpetually ahead of the curve, he has no
problem playing records side by side that
most would never think to put together.
His main technique is that whatever works
gets thrown into the mix... Rick Shiver is
based in Brussels, and gets very regularly
invited to spin records as he's recognized
as part of the best dj's around... After
years of messing with vintage synths
and drum machines, Mr. Shiver is finally
coming out with some productions of
his own. He just did his 1st remix for the
mighty Joy Wellboy, got a collaboraton
with DC Salas almost ready, and more
in the pipeline... COME TOGETHER "Today
on his program you will hear music. All
the rest are just labels. We know that
music is music. Come together as one".
