BUILT TO OUTLAST While we’ve learned a few tricks since our first bale bed rolled off the production line in 1984, one trait has defined DewEze from the beginning - DURABILITY. DewEze pivot and parallel squeeze bale beds, bale huggers and slicers forge ahead, no matter the size of the job or the severity of the weather. Equipment built to outlast your truck? That’s durabilty. Dalebanks Angus of Eureka, KS has been a leading producer of Black Angus seedstock since 1904, trying to produce animals that profit their owner through its production. “We probably started purchasing DewEze bale beds around 1988, after a small mishap with one of our farm trucks ending up submerged in a creek.” Tom Perrier says jokingly. Since then we have purchased seven DewEze beds with three on the ranch now. The nice thing about these DewEze beds is the efficiency they create. We pick up chutes with them; we used to have an AI box that didn’t have wheels and we could move that around with our DewEze, and we haul portable panels with it. One guy with this DewEze bed can do the same amount of work that it took two (guys) and probably an extra flatbed trailer to do. The labor saving efficiency of the DewEze beds has definitely helped us accomplish our goals allowing us to use it in several different applications. Matt & Tom Perrier, Eureka, Kansas After a career in basketball at Oklahoma State and in the NBA, I am now ranching in Oklahoma. I love to be outdoors and I love working with cattle. Five years ago, I decided to purchase a bale bed to help me on the ranch. I researched every bale bed available and aside from the many features that DewEze bale beds have, I also found that they provided the best resale value. We have 350 mother cows and feed them all with our DewEze. When we’re not feeding bales, we use the DewEze to stretch and unroll fences, sometimes five spools of barbed wire at a time. We also use the hydraulic arms of the DewEze to pull the t-posts. There is no feature on the DewEze that I don’t like. I especially like the wireless remote - that seems to be the best feature of all. This last year my truck needed to be replaced, but not my DewEze. I moved my 582 bale bed to a new truck and it still works as good as new. Find a dealer to get started www.deweze.com 600/700 Series Specifications DewEze is the most reliable and durable bed we’ve used. We’ve been running DewEze beds since the late 70’s and while I don’t know how you’d even start to count them up - we’ve probably owned 25 to 30 beds. We keep a bed around for eight to ten years. The beds have held up; we usually get rid of the truck and keep the bed. They’re a heavy built bed. We’ve used them for everything from picking up pipe to pulling yourself out of a mudhole, anything you can’t lift yourself. I think they are very versatile. A lot of stuff we buy is based on the kind of service we’ll receive; who will give us the best service when all is said and done. Service is important and our DewEze dealer has done a fantastic job. Super Slicer II Features & Specifications Super Slicer II Specifications DewEze reserves the right to make changes to design and specifications without notice. For more information, contact your DewEze dealer. Super Slicer II Benefits Due to increasing demand, many hay producers have started using a DewEze Super Slicer to rebale round bales into small squares. The Super Slicer processes hay into a windrow or directly into a square baler without destroying hay quality. It allows you to maintain the leaves at feeding time that you worked so hard to preserve during the bailing process. In addition to low horsepower requirements, minimal dust and quiet operation, the Super Slicer is the most cost efficient rebaling option in today’s market. The slicer gives us a handle on limit feeding hay to stockers. Round bales of our best hay, typically short crop Bermuda, sometimes collapse when the net wrap comes off, making it almost impossible to limit feed. With the slicer, we move from one pasture to another, feeding only as much hay as needed, long stem or short stem. Conventional feeding methods result in a percentage of the hay becoming pretty expensive bedding; they walk all over it. By contrast the slicer puts down a narrow windrow of hay dramatically reducing waste. Ralph Miller, Maize, Oklahoma Minimum Waste The Super Slicer II slices and unrolls large round bales into feed bunks or into a windrow. This allows for efficient feeding, resulting in minimum waste. Sickle Guard The patented sickle guard ensures that the hay is cleanly cut reducing the amount of hay overflow - due to the closeness of the sickles to the top guard. Self Loading The Super Slicer II features a self loading arm, with the ability to haul two bales at a time. This creates a simple, one-man feeding operation. our HONORING HARPER HERITAGE 1977 /// With the arrival of the large round bale, DewEze produces a pickup-mounted unit that can move two round bales at once, the DewEze 265 Bale Pikup. 1974 /// DewEze Mfg. was founded by an entrepreneur who was looking for a market for a machine he had designed to move small square bales, the Hay Mobale. ‘74 Harper Industries is proud of our small-town beginnings and approach to life and business.
