Annual Banquet Recap
We had a fabulous change in our Annual Banquet this year.
Hee Hing is closed for renovations, so we decided to hold our
banquet at Mandalay Restaurant in Downtown Honolulu in
September. This restaurant is smaller than our usual, so it was
easy to sell out all 34 tables, and we closed out the restaurant for
a private party.
Our Banquet Committee chose specialty and exquisite dishes that just whet everyone’s appetite!
Individual mooncakes were given to each guest to take home for the Autumn Harvest Moon Festival.
Everyone was delighted to have this special treat.
As usual, entertainment was provided by comedian Frank Delima to make us laugh during the last
half of our dinner.

Editor’s Note
2014 Year in Review
To OSGL members ~
This past year has gone
by so quickly. After being
married for a year, I think I’ve
finally adjusted into a new
lifestyle, living in a new place,
working in a new location,
and adjusting to a new schedule.
I apologize for not sending out regular quarterly
newsletters. I hope you were still able to keep in
touch with our news through our website and
speaking to other relatives who are active
members.
Please feel free to contact me through email
anytime to share your thoughts about the society,
or share news about you or your family.
The holidays are coming up in the next couple
months, and I hope you have a safe holiday
season filled with love, joy, laughter, and
happiness. Don’t forget to join us at our annual
Christmas luncheon at Wah Kung next month.
Also stay tuned, and check back on our
website for current and upcoming information.
Scholarships are coming up soon, so check
regularly!
Happy Holidays!
