Storytelling Strands Custom Jewelry Designs Overview Just like each of us, every rock in earth’s jewelry box has a history and a story to tell. Raw minerals, crystals, gems, and other natural elements are genuine and artful. They are earthy and soulful. Stones can trigger memories we have from our past such as places we’ve been or loved ones we want to keep close. We may be drawn to certain gems because of color or texture, a birthstone, or a healing quality they possess. When put on a strand and worn as jewelry, they will not only give a finishing touch to your wardrobe, but these Storytelling Strands can also be conversation pieces that bring you great joy. All of my jewelry creations are handmade and most pieces are one of a kind. The stones are all natural and have been collected from my travels all over the United States as well as other parts of the world including Australia, New Zealand, and Peru. I consciously try to honor these gemstones in order to let the finished strands tell their stories. Please enjoy this book!
