TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2016 ABOUT SOS Over 800 people attended the 1st Annual South of Spice event in 2015 and the team at CI Management and RS Consulting looks forward to hosting the 2nd Annual event, coming Tuesday, July 26, 2016. South of Spice is an exclusive event to kick off the famed Miami Spice Restaurant months, specifically for the restaurants located in the South of Fifth Neighborhood. On Tuesday, July 26th from 6-10PM, ticket holders will get behind the scenes access to participating restaurants as they sample, sip, mix, and mingle with South of Fifth’s top chefs for a night on the town. At each location has a designated reserved for guests to meet the chefs, indulge in a sampling of their Miami Spice menus, and have a custom created cocktail or glass of wine to create the perfect pairing. Local artists and musical acts are showcased in multiple restaurants throughout the evening creating a one of a kind dine aroung experience in the prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood in Miami Beach not to be missed. Tickets will be available to South of Fifth residence for a special price of $35. The general public price is $45 and tickets go on sale in May 2016. Last year’s participating restaurants included: Red, the Steakhouse, CIBO Wine Bar, Tongue & Cheek, Smith and Wollenskys, The Local House., Fogo de Chao, Red Ginger, and Tiramesu. In addition to a great night on the town, South of Spice benefits Community Initiatives Foundation and their EAT SMART initiatives to creative healthy food programs for inner city kids of Miami-Dade. Partnering restaurants and chefs of the South Beach Seafood Festival have committed to hosting in-school cooking demonstrations highlighting healthy cooking and eating on a budget.
