This university includes the faculty of Law and Economics (Pantheon) and the faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Sorbonne). Around 40,000 students are enrolled in 14 teaching and research departments (Unités de Formation et de Recherche) and 5 Institutes, which offer top‐level degree courses in law, political science, economics, management and the humanities. Paris 1 is the largest university in France where the humanities and social sciences are offered. There are three main fields of study: • Economics and Management (Economics, Business Management, Mathematics and Computer Science) in addition to the Sorbonne Graduate School of Business (IAE Paris). • Humanities (History, Geography, Philosophy, Art History and Archeology). • Law and Political Science (Administrative and Public Sector Law, Business Law, International and European Studies, Political Sciences and Economics, Labor and Social Law). At the center of tradition and modernity, the university of Paris 1 is at the forefront of research and teaching in the fields of European Studies, International Relations, Management and Communications.
