Cordless PowerTouch FAQs
What is Cordless PowerTouch?
PowerTouch is a low cost cordless motorized option to
raise and lower, or open and close Shangri-La Shadings
and Odysee Cellular Blinds with ease. Cordless
PowerTouch operates using a push button control. The
PowerTouch system is most convenient for adjusting the
vanes between open and closed; can also be used to
raise and lower the window covering.
How does PowerTouch work?
Press and hold the button on the pendant located at the
end of a wand to raise and lower the window covering
or tilt the vanes open or closed. Just release the button on
the pendant to stop the window covering at the desired
position.
What fabrics can I order PowerTouch on?
PowerTouch is available with all Shangri-La and
Odysee fabrics.
What head rail does PowerTouch come on?
Shangri-La Cordless Power Touch is available with
UltraSleek Plus hardware available in white, Oil Rubbed
Bronze and Onyx Black with insert strip. Odysee
Cordless Power Touch is available with white head rail
with insert strip.
What color does the PowerTouch hardware come in?
When you order a Shangri-La shadings with Onyx
Black or Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware, the pendant
and wand will be black. An Odysee blind or Shangri-La
shading with white hardware will have a white wand
and pendant. The buttons on the pendant are always
white.
How is the PowerTouch powered?
PowerTouch Shadings/Blinds use a battery wand to
power the window covering. You can upgrade to a DC
Plug-in Transformer or Solar Panel Recharge option.
There is not a remote option for PowerTouch.
Can I use Shangri-La’s Omni-View feature with PowerTouch?
Yes, you can take advantage of the Omni-View feature of
raising the shading in the open position with PowerTouch.

What is the length of the wand?
The wand will be half the length ordered. Custom
size wands can be specified in 1” increments up to a
maximum length of 56”.
Is PowerTouch covered by Comfortex’s Motorized Shades
5 year warranty?
Yes. Like our other motorized products, PowerTouch is
covered by our 5 year warranty. Comfortex will warranty
the batteries for up to 3 months from date of purchase.
