Starting life as a soft and chalky limestone, it is naturally transformed after being exposed to liquid
magma. Over millions of years, the high temperature and pressure results in the formation of
incredibly hard strands. Once ground to a powder, we blend the Volcanic Limestone™ with high
quality resins to form QUARRYCAST,® a world class composite that is rock solid, scratch and stain
resistant and exclusive to Victoria + Albert.

In response to strong demand for bespoke colour finishing, 2016 sees the roll out of
special finish options to the exterior of every freestanding QUARRYCAST® bath and basin.*
Created using the finest materials and techniques, the new options include four specially
selected paint colours and two additional matt finishes.
Each finish is multi layered using a specialist catalysed paint, with hand polishing
between applications. The technique results in an exceptional depth and lustre to the
finish, and is considerably more durable than hand painted surfaces.
* 25 year guarantee is limited to standard white QUARRYCAST® products in domestic settings - 8 years for
commercial applications. Excludes paint finishes, brassware, drains, furniture, accessories and plating on feet.

Inspired by the sea, our new Pescadero bath
features a ‘wave’ shaped rim and smart sculpted
