produce tricycles, and we have
gathered during all these years a
unique experience and knowledge,
always at the service of our best
clients : Children.
We are known all around the world
through our quality projects and
our exclusive design for schools

Italtrike is the leader for the
production of tricycle for kindergarden and communities with
a complete range of models for
every age and needs.

which means that physical exercise

healthy and fun activitiy you can

Our tricycles are conceived and
built respecting the fundamental
of the European, Americans and
Asian security rules.
We have also succeeded to
maintain most part of our
production in Italy and we will
continue of doing it dedicating
the same passion on this wonderful

Our design, Our passion
An Italtrike scooter, built in 1986.
Still in use at Castelcucco primary school.
Design,
engineering
and
child
development skills are the foundation
of Italtrike. To develop our products, for
schools and for home as well, we work
with child specialists like teachers or
pediatricians.
For more than 20 years now we work
with the designer Alain Pineau, who has
been a part of almost all our products.
Designing a range of tricycles for
kindergarten doesn’t allow for any
mistakes in safety and quality. It
requires knowledge and understanding
about the physical and cognitive
development of children.
When we develop tricycle for special

needs kids, we will always do it with
the support of medical specialists, and
therefore all our products benefit from
all these experiences.
We invest a lot of resources to bring
the best to kids, from innovations, new
materials and concepts.
Italtrike now is famous for the quality,
the design, but, beyond the love of
the "Grande Opera" ("great work" in
Italian)
Our mission is really to provide children
with their first trips to freedom, to
encourage them to move and develop
their capabilities, motor skills and
independence, to "learn to do alone"
as Maria Montessori used to say.

The Italtrike school tricycles collection
Dear Customer,
Italtrike has created, during the last 30 years, a wide collection of tricycles.
Different styles, different themes, but all of them have the same mission: give to children the
possibility to play their games, alone or with their friends, discovering freedom, new spaces,
new actions stimulating their physical and motor skills.
“Kids on wheels” is our motto.
We believe that an healthy physical activity, within a safe contest, is the best recreation we can
offer to children.
Children need action on open air , discovering spaces around them , feeling the freedom.
Italtrike gives them the instruments to play and have fun .
Each Italtrike tricycle and vehicle has its own “production code” label adhered
to the frame.
This gives to Italtrike a complete traceability of the product as well as of all
its components.
Traceability of the product is one of the latest standard of the EN71.
All Italtrike products are designed and manufactured at Italtrike factory in Italy.
Aluminium as well as steel pipe are manufactured at Italtrike metal workshop,
by skilled people and by the latest machineries for pipe bending and welding.
Italtrike is UNI EN ISO 9001 since 1999. This means all the manufacturing processes are kept
strictly under control.
A special attention is reserved to the last European and American standards for the limits to
chemicals on toys: REACH-ASTM.
Italtrike can guarantee these standards on all its products because we only buy first class raw
materials from qualified producers.
Italtrike has the capability to deliver your orders within a reasonable short time. This will reduce
the need for customers to build heavy and expensive stock of goods.
During year 2010 , Italtrike has impressively implemented its standards in terms of safety and
environment .
Our factory has achieved certification UNI EN ISO 14001 for environmental
standards of the place of work and BS OHSAS 18001 for safety of its workers .
We are proud to be one of the few companies in the European Industry
with these standards
Italtrike can offer a full spare parts service with immediate delivery.
This protects investment and can give to Italtrike’s products an
unlimited durability.

Our Credits
has always kept ,and we will keep in the future the manufacturing of our school tricycles
lines in Italy. We are proud of this, we are proud of our workers, of their capability. There are things you
can do only with the passion and with the experience built during years of work.
In 1999,
has certified its production with the standard ISO 9001.
We can now confirm Quality is always under control. Later in 2010, Italtrike has implemented also the
standards regarding Safety of the place of work and of their workers achieving the certification ISO
BS OHSAS 18001
In the same time we have also adapted all our manufacturing process to the environmental standards
by the certification ISO 14001
Italtrike is a nice factory where we produce good products with high quality standards, in full safety
for the workers, and with a dutiful environmental respect.

PRODUCTION CODE and Warranty terms
All Italtrike products have a Production code label.
On the label is marked a five digit code PXXXXX
By this code ,we can trace the production date and those of all its
components. The new EU standards prescrive products must have
traciability code. This rule is activated in Italtrike since 2005.
Warranty on Italtrike products can be activated only by sending this
Production code to our quality departments together with the request
of replacements.
Each replacement part is listed in this catalogue (page 21 and 28)
and on each assembly manual included in the tricycle delivery carton.

The Pilot Series is Italtrike most comprehensive line.
Smaller size tricycles in the Pilot 100 Series are the perfect fit for toddlers aged 1-2 years, while
preschoolers graduate, age 2-4 years, to the standard sized Pilot 200 Series and finally, Pilot 300
Series for girls and boys, age 4-6 years.
This new commercial tricycle line has a distinctive European feel that enables you to select the
tricycle that best fits a child’s development stage.
These high quality tricycles offer all the features required to meet the high demands of child care
setting; commercial grade steel, durable finishes,outstanding workmanship, and a great design which

Pilot 100 - Blue Trikes
Children ages 1 to 2 begin to develop their gross motor skills and it is important that they explore
the world around them.
Pilot 100 is a line dedicated to these emerging skills.
The single and double walkers allow young toddlers to set the tricycle in motion by using their
feet on the ground.
A tricycle with pedals and 3-wheeled scooter are also available.

ZERO has many different regulations of its parts which
