volunteer Money Map Coaches to assist you on your way. You may
also want to choose someone as an accountability partner who will
encourage you to stay faithful on the journey.

Here’s how the Crown Money Map™ works:
Don’t forget to celebrate when you complete a step. You’ve made
progress! At every step of the way you’ll enjoy greater financial freedom.
Take time to thank the Lord for His help.
There are six destinations on your journey before you reach the
final destination. Complete each in order. For example, you reach
Destination 1 before proceeding to Destination 2.
Getting started:
If you have children, begin teaching them God’s way of
handling money.
Acquire basic insurance, depending on your needs, age, and
financial ability (auto, health, life, disability, and long-term care).
If your employer matches your retirement fund contributions,
begin saving for retirement now as long as you can continue
making consistent progress on the journey.
Make a list of all your assets and liabilities to get a
clear picture of your net worth.

There are two important things to do before you begin.
Now review every destination and check off what you’ve already
accomplished. Then, start with the first destination you’ve not yet
finished. For example, if you haven’t saved $1,000 for emergencies,
you’ll start at Destination 1.
Complete “My Life Purpose,” “My Life Goals,” and
“Foundational Principles” on the other side of the map.

Before you begin “My Journey to True Financial Freedom” on the reverse
side, complete the following important steps. When these are completed,
identify where you are on the Crown Money Map™ and begin the exciting
journey to TRUE FINANCIAL FREEDOM!
My Life Purpose
We are so glad you have decided to take
the journey to True Financial Freedom!
Describe what you believe is your life purpose. Your purpose is similar to gas in a car. It should be the fuel that
drives you to the destination of True Financial Freedom.
It’s the motivation that propels you.
So, what is True Financial Freedom?
God has a special purpose for your life. And He doesn’t want anything to
prevent you from fulfilling the purpose for which you were created. True
Financial Freedom is knowing that God owns it all, finding contentment with
what He provides, and being free to be all He made you to be.
Prayerfully consider what matters most to you. Consider
your relationship with God, with your family and friends,
and your service to others. What is your passion? Now
summarize your life purpose.
If there is a Bible verse that captures your life purpose,
write it down to serve as your guide.
We have assembled the very best classes, books, and
software available to help you learn and apply God’s way
of handling money. Each tool is specifically designed for a
