Can Chevy Tracker defy gravity and scale the side of a vertical
cliff? Nah. But with its four-wheel-drive capability, standard V6
power in LT and ZR2 4-Door 4x4 models and steel ladder-type
frame, very little stands in its way. Offered in either two- or
four-wheel drive, the top-of-the-line Tracker LT 4-Door comes

Standard Power Front Disc/Rear Drum Brakes
Power brakes provide dependable stopping capability on
Tracker. Ventilated front disc rotors help keep the brake
system cool, especially when you’re driving in stopand-go city traffic or on mountain grades.
MacPherson Struts
MacPherson front struts utilize a coil spring
that’s separate from the shock absorber. This
design helps Tracker handle rugged terrain.
V6 Power
Tracker LT and ZR2 4-Door models come with a standard
V6 engine that generates 165 hp at 6500 rpm and 162 lb.-ft.
of torque at 4000 rpm.
Anti-Flex Bar
Tracker has an anti-flex bar that arches across its
engine compartment to tie the front suspension
strut towers together. This helps strengthen the
Tracker body structure.
Four-Speed Automatic
Transmission
The available four-speed automatic
transmission includes a power
switch. When selected, automatic
transmission upshifts are
delayed to help enhance
acceleration. It’s a handy
feature to use when you’re
merging and passing on
the freeway.
Dual Body-Isolation System
Four-Wheel-Drive System
On Tracker 4x4 models, the fourwheel-drive system includes a twospeed transfer case which provides a
4L (four-wheel low) setting. This function
enhances traction when you’re driving on
challenging terrain.
Protective Measures
Tracker features side-door beams, crush zones
and an integrated steel protective-cage design
around the interior compartment to help keep you
and your passengers safe.
Corrosion Protection
The body (except roof) of Chevy Tracker is made of two-sided
galvannealed steel. It’s a process that applies a zinc-alloy
coating to both sides of the sheet metal to enhance corrosion
resistance. The body is warranted against rust-through for six
years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.*

Six-Layer Paint Process
A six-layer basecoat/clearcoat paint process is used on Chevy Tracker.
The process is designed to keep the exterior paint glossy.

To get to remote off-road locations, you need the right
amount of power. Tracker LT and ZR2 4-Door models
have a standard 2.5 Liter 24-valve DOHC V6 engine with

2-Door Convertible and Base models. The engine has

A split-folding rear seat in Tracker 4-Door models
lets you transport long items like two-by-fours,
while providing room for one rear-seat passenger.
Flat-Folding Rear Seat
For extra cargo-carrying room in Tracker, simply
fold the rear seat flat. There’s up to 44.7 cu. ft. of
room available in 4-Door models and 33.7 cu. ft.
in Convertible models.
Manual Sunroof
A manually operated sunroof is available for Chevy
