Program Guide
Summer@MBC
Your MBC family tradition begins here!
14
God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent
me to you.” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God
of your ancestors - the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob - has
sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.”
Exodus 3:14-15 NLT

Summer@MBC
In your hands you hold the information you’ll need to make this an
exceptional summer experience for you and your family. We are
delighted to have you join us at MBC and it is our desire that you will
be renewed in your relationship with Christ, connected with friends
and family and equipped to be the hands and feet of God when you
go back into your home communities.
Our theme this year focuses on ‘The Names of God’. This builds on
last year’s theme of God’s Promises. As we have studied God’s
attributes and promises over the past two years – we will now realize
that the names used to describe and define God tie very much into
both the attributes and promises. May you leave this summer with a
new sense of awe for the one called the great I AM.
As you and your family are blessed by this ministry, may we ask you to
also take some time to consider how you could help support this
ministry financially? The ministry activities (adult teaching, kids and
youth programming) are all supported by donations. Your gift can
help cover these costs and ensure that the programming content
remains robust and ever increasing in its Kingdom impact. Thank You.
For information on our donation priorities and
process, please check out the Muskoka Bible
Foundation website:
http://www.muskokabiblefoundation.com
We trust you will be blessed by your time at MBC this summer!

Muskoka Bible Foundation
Muskoka Bible Foundation (MBF) exists to support the
Kingdom building activities taking place on the grounds
of Muskoka Bible Centre. We are very thankful for your
faithful partnership in helping to build the Kingdom of
God. You are BUILDERS alongside of us in the great work
God is doing here at MBC!
This year our MBF Builders target is just under $745,000. These funds
support a variety of programming strategically designed to accomplish
our mission of renewing, connecting and equipping the family of God.
Did you know that all of our ministry programming is
completely funded through donations?
Yes, it’s true. Your fees for accommodation, meals and such cover the
operating and facility costs but the adult, youth and children’s programming is covered by donations from people like you who participate and also
many others who don’t attend but believe in what God is doing here.
Please consider a gift this summer to help support the ministry that
you are enjoying.
We encourage our MBF Builders to join us for our Builders Luncheon on
Saturday, August 6th. There is no cost associated with this luncheon but please
be sure to register in advance! See Bev Offner at the main office to sign up or
email [email protected]
Your specific opportunities for partnership this year include:
Send a CHILD to CAMP:
Help us send 330 Campers to
camp in 2016!
This summer, MBC and Camp
Widjiitiwin have a goal to bring 330
children & youth to camp at no cost
to them.
34
• ‘Escape’ Camp  60 children from inner-city Hamilton
 in partnership with area churches.
• ‘The Royal City’ Camp  60 at risk youth from the
Guelph area  in partnership with Church of the Ward.
• ‘Venture Camp’  50 at risk youth from Toronto
through a partnership with Capstone Community
Bible Church. ($200 per camp has already been committed by the church)
• ‘Fresh Air Camp’  110 children.
• New Partnership with ‘Ephriam’s Place’ bringing 30 youth from an at risk
community near Jane and Finch, Toronto.
• An additional 20 campers from other areas.
As an incentive, Muskoka Bible Centre will match your gift of $425 to
Muskoka Bible Foundation by covering the cost of sending a camper to
Camp Widjiitiwin. Our goal is to raise $185,000 for Muskoka Bible
Foundation in support of this initiative.
In addition to our Camp Widjiitiwin outreach opportunities, your gifts help
support the Bible teaching and discipleship programming for children and
youth taking place this summer and also all the costs associated with the
adult ministry programming described in this program guide.
More than 9,000 guests, including more than 2,200 children and youth, will
be impacted with these Bible teaching and disciple-making initiatives.
We encourage you to consider partnering with us in 2016!
You can make a contribution directly at the office or participate in one of the
offering opportunities in chapel (Sunday AM/PM, Wednesday & Friday PM).
Income Tax Receipts will be given for gifts of $10 or more. Please connect
with John Friesen, CEO, should you have questions about specific opportunities or check out www.muskokabiblefoundation.com for more information.
