For Jewish Athletes ages 13-16.
The JCC Maccabi Games® are a week-long international sporting event for
Jewish athletes’ held each year in North America. The experience includes
opening ceremony, intense competitions, community service mitzvah
projects, fun evening events, home hospitality and down time activities.
Team Philadelphia, one of the largest delegations participating in the
Games each year, is comprised of athletes from all over the Philadelphia
area and its suburbs. The Kaiserman JCC is the home base for Team
Philadelphia. Athletes must try out for a position on a team.
Eligibility
Tryouts are open to Jewish teens that are 13 and not yet 17 by July 31, 2016.
Location
The sport you play determines which city you will go to. See tryouts
schedule for a list of which sports travel to which cities.
What’s Included
The all-inclusive Games fee includes: all transportation/airfare, luggage
fees, opening ceremony outfit, competition uniform, trading pins,
trading t-shirts, housing, all meals, competition, all evening events.
Fees & Travel
Tryout fee is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
Games fees are: St Louis $2400; Stamford $1950
Partial Scholarships
Partial scholarships are available based on financial need. Call Marti

x125. Apps must be received by March 30, 2016. Athletes also have the
opportunity to fundraise to help reduce costs.

For Jewish Athletes ages 10-12.
The Mid-Atlantic Junior Games are modeled after
the JCC Maccabi Games®, but geared for athletes’
ages 10-12 years old. This one day event is held each
spring and delegations are formed via the Kaiserman
JCC, Bucks County, Mont Co and Center City Regions.
2016 Sports include: baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming,
tennis, track and table tennis. Over 750 athletes from PA, DE,
MD, NY and NJ participate in this Jewish sports experience.
Eligibility
Tryouts are open to Jewish pre teens that are ages 10, 11 or 12 as
of May 1, 2015. Athletes should tryout for a delegation closest to their
home. Not all sports are offered by all delegations. If your home
delegation is not offering a sport, you may tryout for a team in another
Philadelphia delegation.

For Jewish Artists Ages 13-17. JCC
Maccabi ArtsFest is designed to inspire Jewish teens through a dynamic
combination of workshops, performances, exhibitions, recognition of
excellence, community service, social activities, and fun. Teens develop
their individuality through the medium of artistic expression while
strengthening their bonds to their Jewish heritage, community and Israel.
Once your audition is accepted by the national organization you will be
asked to register with Team Philadelphia.
The all-inclusive Games fee of $1950 includes: all transportation/airfare,
luggage fees, opening ceremony outfit, trading pins, trading t-shirts,
housing, all meals, closing performance and all workshops and all
evening events.

these programs and their scholarship funds are fully tax deductible through the 501c3
