The backbone of the smartTower solution
Frequentis tower integration products - covers the needs of today’s controllers and brings world class, SESAR-proven
usability to existing infrastructure. The modular platform allows integration of existing systems in the tower (e.g. surveillance)
and interfaces with all legacy airport infrastructure (e.g. sensors, lighting, navaids).
Container solution
Containers fitted for ATC needs are a cost-efficient, standardised way to implement small or interim tower solutions.
Frequentis cooperates directly with vendors of such ATC tower containers, which are pre-installed with the required systems
to speed up the delivery and installation process.

The tower at the Congonhas national airport is following a tower modernization program where during the refurbishment of the tower a provisional tower had to be provided, while maintaining full operation. The provisional tower as well
as the new fully integrated Tower solution comprises in total 5 working positions, all equipped with the functionality of
a meteorological airfield display, runway lighting control, navigational status indication, bi-lingual automatic ATIS solution and electronic flight strips.

The customer decided to implement a container based tower solution that shall remain until the whole Airport is renewed. Frequentis was responsible to build, implement and commission the container based tower which is now operational since 2010.
