Carbon prepreg is expensive stuff. A 50m roll can cost thousands of
dollars, and we consume kilometers of it each month. The resin, a
modified epoxy system, does not cure at room temperature, but needs
heat to make it solidify. This means the prepreg will not cure at room
temperature and can be refrigerated to keep for very long periods.
By itself, carbon fiber is a black floss-like material that is very
vulnerable to abrasion and damage. Only by combining it with a
resin system do we get a composite that is useful as an engineering
material. So when we talk loosely about carbon fiber fishing rods we
normally mean carbon fiber and epoxy composite. These bass rods

The Staggering Gomez represents a totally new bait for the Pike and Musky angler, as well as a smaller version that
is an incredible topwater lure for Largemouth Bass. Because of the forward facing legs, the bait “staggers” back and
forth, in a wide and wild walk. The Staggering Gomez comes equipped with a custom razor sharp dual hook. The hooking
percentages on this bait are far better than single hook baits. The hollow design allows the bait to easily compress,
exposing the razor sharp hooks.
The bait even has a lower hook hanger for open water presentations. Upon retrieval, the bait makes tremendous surface
commotion and will leave a huge wake. Additionally, the two innovative vent holes evacuate any water upon the cast,
eliminating the constant need to drain the bait.
