Tales from the Table
Captain’s Table at the Hyannis Yacht Club Hyannis Yacht Club Organized 1927 Tales from the Table Tales from the Table Fall 2009 General Manager’s Report Unbelievably another summer has come and gone, and over the past several months we were able to accommodate many members as they hosted birthday parties, anniversaries and weddings. Incidentally, we still have some select wedding dates available for next year and it’s never too early to reserve your place for next year’s Fourth of July festivities. One of the good things about the close of summer is that autumn is such a wonderful season on the Cape. The Captain’s Table is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. We plan to keep the deck open through October, and we’ll keep it warm with heaters as cooler weather approaches. Please make an effort to come down for lunch or dinner while the deck is still open. Look carefully at this entire newsletter. This year we’re hosting many opportunities for you to enjoy at your Club. We’ve planned a wine lecture series, a wine dinner, beer lectures, an Oktoberfest beer dinner, dinner dances, dinner with movie, as well as three jazz brunches and a host of other good times. This is a great Club, get involved and have fun. And while we’re talking about parties, remember the Captain’s Table this holiday season. It’s never too early to plan your holiday festivities. Please call Kati at (508) 775-9331 and find out how you can host a special party for your family, friends or business associates. Lastly, don’t forget that beginning October 12th from 4:30pm to closing we begin the three course “Captain’s Pick” specials and our fabulous weekly “Prime Rib Night” returns Wednesday, October 14th. I hope we’ll be seeing you soon at the Captain’s Table. ~ Wes Richardson Hyannis Yacht Club 490 Ocean Street Turn a double play into a … Homerun!!!!
