Charlie Wells
Dry Hopped Lager 4.7%
PPint £4.20
Brewed in true continental style, we use 100% malt in the mash,
and add in Target hops followed by a late addition of Styrian
Goldings. What makes this beer really special is a two week cold
conditioning stage with Australian Galaxy and Ella hops which
brings out all that depth of flavour and dry hop character.
Estrella Damm 4.6%
Pint £4.30
Estrella Damm is the 4.6% ABV Premium, authentic lager from
Barcelona. A genuine import from the iconic, cultural city in the
Mediterranean. Brewed with 100% natural ingredients including
pearl rice, a very mediterranean ingredient that characterises
Estrella’s flavour.
Amstel 4.1%
PPint £4.10
A deep golden colour, achieved using a mixture of light and
dark
dda
a malt, giving the beer a unique sweet malt flavour with
hhints of raisin and dark fruit.
Young's London Stout 4.3%
Pint £4.30
For the discerning drinker who knows that Young’s beers are
best in class for taste and quality. This rich dark beer, brewed
with oatmeal for a smoother, sweeter taste, is synonymous with
the history of London itself and quite different from the
more ubiquitous beers sold under the stout genre.
Aspall Suffolk Cyder 5.5%
PPint £4.20
Mid-straw colour with a floral/appley aroma, especially
russets. Lovely mouth-filling mousse and delicate
flavour of fresh pressed apples. Off-dry and quite
complex, enhancing the long finish.

Introducing the
mission estate winery
The oldest winery in New Zealand, established in 1851.
Paul Mooney has been the winemaker at Mission Estate
for over 30 years, making him one of the most experienced
winemakers in New Zealand.
Paul’s wine-making philosophies are heavily influenced by
his mentor, Brother John, who trained in Bordeaux during the
1960s. Apart from their sister pub in Bedford, we believe
Merlin’s Cave offer the largest selection of Mission wines in
the UK.
Occasionally we are able to offer you unique wines from Mission, keep your eyes peeled.
Wine
We are pleased to offer most of our wines by the glass and carafe, the best value is
by the bottle. Prices on the wine list are by the bottle, check below for glass prices.
