The Board of Trustees of San Francisco
Theological Seminary has established the Maximo
Callao Trustee Scholarship Fund in memory of
Dr. Maximo “Max” Callao, a beloved friend of
SFTS and former member of its Board of
Trustees. Dr. Max Callao was a founding member,
and previous Clerk of Session, of the Covenant
Presbyterian Church in Boise, ID. A Presbyterian
“elder,” he was also a former moderator and vice
moderator of the Synod of the Pacific and served
on various committees of the General Assembly.
The Maximo Callao Trustee Scholarship Fund
will be used to provide funding for scholarships
and student support services at SFTS. The SFTS
Board of Trustees invites your support for this new
scholarship fund. For information concerning
various gifting options, please note the other side
of this flyer.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Donors may take advantage of charitable gift annuities
to provide income for themselves or a family member.
Your gift annuity will also provide a significant gift for
the Maximo Callao Trustee Scholarship Fund. To receive

Bequest
Donors may include the Maximo Callao Trustee Scholarship Fund in their wills by leaving a percentage or a
fixed dollar amount to SFTS, designated for the scholarship fund. Please call Rev. Peter D. Crouch for sample
wording to add a codicil to your will.
If the securities are held book-entry at a brokerage firm
(your broker can tell you whether your securities are
held book-entry), please instruct your broker to deliver
them via DTC to DTC #226, referencing the following

If the securities are in your possession and you have
an active brokerage account, please deposit the stock
certificates with your broker and then follow the transfer
