50+ Winter Games propose a variety of outdoor
activities such as: hockey, curling, downhill skiing,

Mont-Tremblant will be the host of a pond hockey
tournament for adults on Lac Mercier. 32 teams
from Québec, Ontario, the Maritimes and the USA
will participate in this recreational tournament. This
second edition will include a women’s division and
an NHL alumni exhibition game.

The Canadian Ski Marathon is North America’s
longest and oldest Nordic ski tour. Unlike most
ski events, there are no winners or losers in the
Canadian Ski Marathon: it is not a race. The CSM
takes place on a trail that is only groomed once
per year between Lachute and Gatineau. The trail
winds through mostly privately owned land in the
picturesque western Laurentian mountains.

First winter triathlon approved by Triathlon Québec, in the region. This event is for snowshoers,
skaters and skiers of all skill levels. There are
three categories to the event: competitive, initiation and family, plus special categories for children,
teenagers and elders. The Morin-Heights Viking Loppet is a winter tradition that celebrates cross-country skiing. The
skiing style is classic with three distances offered:
10 km, 20 km and 33 km.
