Elite athlete interviews will be available upon request. No interviews will be permitted at the start line on
race day. The men’s and women’s champions will be available following the race outside the hospitality
tent, prior to the awards ceremony.
Race Day Services:
 Limited space is available on the lead vehicles for members of the media. To request space, please
contact a member of the media relations team before 5:00 pm on Friday, June 17.

Race results will be distributed shortly after the completion of the race in the hospitality tent.
Specific race results are available upon request. All results requests should be made no later than
5:00 pm on Friday, June 17.


More than 20,000 registered runners from all 50 states and 28 countries
61% of the participants are women
20% are first-time marathoners

First: $500



All finishers running faster than 2:18:00 (m) and 2:43:00 (w) will receive $1,000 regardless of
their place.
All runners finishing between 2:18:00 and 2:23:59 (m) and 2:43:00 and 2:47:59 (w) will receive
$500 regardless of their place.
All runners finishing between 2:24:00 and 2:25:59 (m) and 2:48:00 and 2:49:59 (w) will receive
HALF MARATHON PRIZE PURSE
Men & Women Overall
First: $250



All runners finishing under 1:05:00 (m) and 1:15:00 (w) will be paid $500 regardless of place.
All runners finishing between 1:05:00 and 1:05:59 (m) and 1:15:00 and 1:15:59 (w) will be paid
$350 regardless of place.
All runners finishing between 1:06:00 and 1:06:59 (m) and 1:16:00 and 1:16:59 (w) will be paid

Runners will start at Seattle Center (Broad St north of Denny) and finish at CenturyLink Field (Occidental Ave.).
Participants will experience sights like the Cascades, Mt Rainier, downtown Seattle skyline, Space Needle and more
along the 26.2, 13.1 and 5 mile course.

HEADLINER CONCERT
The New Pornographers hail from Vancouver, Canada. The band first came together in 1999 and have released
six albums including, Together, Mass Romantic, Challengers and Electric Version, which was ranked 79 in
Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Best Albums of the Decade.” Band members include, A.C. Newman, John
