Why is it that Italy is still home to many of the world’s greatest artisans? Why is it that
the soul of Italy is still the fountain from which the world’s appreciation of color and design
emanate? It is simply the pride and tradition of the families and the centuries old techniques
passed down through the generations. With deep appreciation and gratitude for Italian
design and artisans, in 1997 I began a journey that became Arte Italica.
As we enter our 16th year, Arte Italica continues in the vein of my initial vision, to
represent the handcrafted excellence and refined beauty of Italian artistry. I am thrilled to
present our new catalog, with which we encourage you to discover the history and tradition
of Italian handcrafting. I am proud to represent these skilled artisans and the fruits of their
labor. Arte Italica offers collections that celebrate home entertaining, style and all that Italy
embodies – love of life, love of family and friends, and lives lived well.
All of the pieces you see in our catalog are exclusively designed and created by Arte
Italica and artisans throughout Italy. I hope you enjoy perusing the catalog and the unique
