President’s Message
If you missed February’s general meeting, you missed a lot of fun!
Our gift exchange game brought oohs, aahs and a lot of laughter.
We also exchanged ideas on our upcoming Ranch Trail Competition
as well as our conce
concession
ssion stand at the April Julie Goodnight clinic at
Thorson’s arena. Debbie Lowery is still reaching out for help with
both of these events.

February was also a big month for our club barn. Several club
members met there on a cloudy Saturday and, at long last, cleaned
the barn from head to toe! We disposed of obsolete items as well as
a ton of dirt and cobwebs. We replaced hangers for our tarp poles
and reorganized and labeled all the remaining inventory items.
There is now a Sign Out Sheet and new proc
process
ess in place for
anyone borrowing items from the barn. More to follow. A big
THANKS to Chere, Kitty, Joan, Pat, Bob, Jake, Mike and Margo for
a job well done!
Do you feel lucky? How about bringing a batch of your favorite soup
or chili to our March meet
meeting
ing for a tasting? Our March meeting will
be our first annual Soup/Chili Competition. Come and vote for your
favorite! Winner will receive a prize. The club will furnish the bread.
If you choose to keep your favorite recipe a secret, you can bring a
salad or your favorite dessert to share.
We will also have a guest attending the meeting, Kayla Peterson.
She is running for the Sheriff’s Rural Crime position and would like
to introduce herself to us and get our feedback on what we want or
need in that area. Don’t miss your chance to chat with Kayla.
Lots more happening. Come to the meeting, socialize with friends
and keep in the know for future fun events!
