The most significant investors in NE BiH 1995-2010 The industry has enormous significance for the economic development of NE. This particularly applies to metal industry. Baseline studies of industrial sectors in NE BiH, characterized metal processing sector as a sector with the greatest potential for growth. Wood industry also has great significance for the development of NE BiH, as well as the whole Bosnia and Herzegovina, because its participation in the physical extent of the economy is right after metal industry. Wood industry is an important basis for development of underdeveloped areas in the NE that contain high quality forest areas, with substantial capacity for primary processing of wood.
