Room 49 65 seated | 125 cocktail reception EVENTS PACKAGE Located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, Simon & Seafort’s offers upscale-casual American fare with a contemporary interpretation of beloved classic cuisine, perfect for any occasion. Renowned for our delicious, locally-sourced, made-from-scratch menu & inviting atmosphere, a visit to Simon & Seafort’s is sure to leave a lasting impression. Room 49, our new banquet facility, offers private dining with an array of menu options to suit your function & impress your guests. Our event manager & culinary team will artfully craft an experience that is unique, delicious & memorable. Whether you need a quiet meeting space fueled by caffeine, or an extensive, elegant wedding reception, Room 49 is versatile enough to actualize your vision in unrivaled fashion. Room 49 EVENT INFORMATION CONTRACTS, MINIMUMS & DEPOSITS Although there is no rental fee for Room 49, we do have food and beverage minimums that vary seasonally. Event space is reserved with a 30% non-refundable deposit that is applied as a credit toward the food & beverage minimum during your event. This deposit, along with a signed Catering Contract will secure your booking with Room 49 at Simon & Seafort’s. The minimum includes all food and beverage with the exception of a non-hosted bar & is not inclusive of the 20% service charge. Please inquire with your event manager regarding minimums specific to your event date. MENUS Our special event menus deliver the same superior, innovative, Alaskan fare experienced in our restaurant, in a private banquet setting. Select from full-service dinner options or work with our event staff to create a custom package of unique food & beverage offerings. Our fresh ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible. Please let us know in advance if your guests have any dietary restrictions & our culinary team will endeavor to provide enticing options to satisfy everyone. PERSONALIZED MENUS Printed menus can be created with the name of the function, company, group or honored guests along with the event’s menu selections. We can also create name & entrée cards, placed at each setting to add a special touch of elegance to any event. PARKING We offer validated parking for up to two hours in the Captain Cook parking garage. Other paid lots are located nearby as well as metered parking spots, which are free on holidays, weekends & after 6:00pm daily. BEVERAGES Simon’s carries a vast array of draft beers, signature wines & specialty cocktails to complement your menu selections & customize your event. Simon & Seafort’s will not serve alcohol to minors at any time & reserves the right to discontinue service at our discretion. Details regarding beverage packages & available options are provided in the refreshments sections that follow. Room 49 EVENT INFORMATION FLORAL & CAKES Simon & Seafort’s works with some of Anchorage’s finest florists to enhance your special event with beautiful & unique arrangements. Our event team is pleased to help guide your selections of elegant floral decor & coordinate with our premier vendors to provide a seamless experience for you. Simon & Seafort’s is delighted to announce that we have very gifted in-house bakers & now offer exquisitely crafted items including wedding cakes. Your event manager can collaborate with our baking team to create the perfect treat to honor your celebration. All food and beverages must be supplied by Simon’s, with the exception of celebration cakes. If you would like to bring your own specialty cake, there will be a nominal cake-cutting fee. If your cake is provided by our baking team, however, this fee is waived. Simon & Seafort’s will provide all necessary service ware & utensils in addition to cutting & serving. Simon & Seafort’s license permits us to serve only products prepared in a commercial kitchen licensed by the Health Department. AUDIO VISUAL RESOURCES Room 49 is equipped with a drop down screen, mounted projector, microphone, laser pointer & house sound system. All necessary cords are provided. EVENT BOOKING PROCESS ❊ Confirm availability & review menu options ❊ Return the Catering Contract and Deposit Form ❊ Select your menu & add specialty enhancements including A/V, floral services, bar packages & other rentals to elevate your occasion ❊ Confirm all details and review the Banquet Event Order ❊ Menus are due 2 weeks prior to event, with final guest counts due 3 days prior to event Room 49 EVENT INFORMATION TABLE ARRANGEMENTS & ROOM LAYOUT Room 49’s modern design & open floor plan allow for a variety of room setup options & the furnishings provide versatility to accommodate many types of functions. BANQUET ROUNDS This style is most common for banquets & meetings with meals. Our rounds comfortably seat 6 guests each. CLASSROOM STYLE This arrangement is used primarily for conferences & lectures where attendees will be taking notes. U-SHAPE This setup is appropriate for presentations with groups of less than 25 guests. Room 49 EVENT INFORMATION TABLE ARRANGEMENTS BOARDROOM STYLE One large table with all guests seated around it; achieved by arranging several smaller tables together. Great for meetings or intimate dinners in which all guests want to be seated together at one table. CRESCENT ROUNDS This setup utilizes round tables with chairs only on one side, so all guests face the front of the room. This works well for meetings & presentations. COCKTAIL RECEPTION Several cocktail tables arranged throughout room to accommodate more guests & encourage mingling; optional chairs bordering perimeter of room.
