Dear NAIGC:
We, the Emory Club Gymnastics team are interested in hosting the National competition
in 2009. NAIGC Nationals is an event that has never taken place at Emory, or in the city
of Atlanta, and we would be proud to be given the opportunity to make that happen.
Having a venue on our campus large enough for event is a great addition, making us even
more excited to be able to compete on our own campus, in front of our classmates. Not
only will this raise the overall awareness of collegiate club gymnastics, but for our team
across Emory’s campus as well. In addition to visiting teams benefiting from the
increased awareness of NAIGC, they will have the opportunity to spend time exploring
all that Atlanta has to offer. Atlanta is a convenient location for visiting teams, with easy
travel and access both by air and by car. As a team we are prepared to commit ourselves
to the planning of this competition, in order to provide every team with the same amazing
experience in Atlanta that we have had at National competitions in the past. We look
forward to working with you to make Nationals 2009, the most successful it can be.

To the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs,
We are thrilled to write this letter in support of the Emory Gymnastics Club hosting the NAIGC
Nationals meet in April 2009 at Emory University’s Woodruff P.E. Center.
Over the last five months the leadership of the Emory Gymnastics Club has held meetings,
gathered information and prepared a proposal, which contains all details for hosting a
gymnastics meet of this magnitude at our facility. We believe the Club is committed to this
endeavor and will do everything that is expected of them, and beyond, to make NAIGC
Nationals 2009 one of the best meets ever. The department of Athletics & Recreation will also
provide assistance to the NAIGC and our Club in order to help run a first class meet.
Emory University, located 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta, has the ideal setting for a large
Gymnastics meet. The Arena in the Woodruff P.E. Center, in the center of our scenic campus,
is the perfect size not only for the meet set-up and equipment, but for all the participants and
spectators that will be in attendance. If there is any additional information that you need or if
