ad bands® /qrc bands
Ad Bands® were created in 1986 as the “Original Printed Rubber Band” and the multiple functions are
endless. They can be used as an easy way to promote your message by adding QR codes*, as handouts, wrist bands or on-pack/in-pack premiums. (Ad Bands® are also available in black light ink, offered
in 6 colors, so your message will glow under a black light. Call for pricing.)
*A QR code (short for Quick Response) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. QR Codes will only scan when the band is
relaxed to its original size and proportion, and require a 3/4” width size band or greater.

FotoFlex™ is the world’s first stretchable wristband that uses four-color imprinting of digital
graphics, allowing you to turn your rubber wristband into a mini-billboard for maximum
promotional effect. Each wristband is made to order and guarantees durable crisp images that
make for a highly visible product. The product is unique in that it cracks when stretched, but it does
not flake and will return to near photo quality when relaxed.
These wristbands are custom printed to exact specifications including faces, event logos, sponsors’

PAPER PROOF:
Will be faxed within 24 hours after receipt of P.O. Order will not be released into production
until signed proof approval is returned. This applies to new and repeat orders.
STANDARD PRODUCTION TIME:
For orders up to 25,000 pieces, standard production time is 7-15 working days after final art
approval. This time is subject to change dependent upon product, specifications and
current workload.
RUSH SERVICE:
A rush charge may apply on orders outside normal production time. Call for rush service
availability and quote.
OVER / UNDER RUNS:
Unless otherwise agreed to before order ships, order quantities may be filled plus or minus 10%
with invoice billed at actual quantity shipped.
CANCELLATIONS:
Charges will be billed for any order which is cancelled after production has begun and will
include any charges incurred up to time of cancellation.
RETURNS AND CLAIMS:
Custom merchandise is non-refundable. Returns and claims cannot be accepted without
authorization. Claims due to manufacturers error must be made within 30 days after
product ships.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
1ST time orders are prepaid. A copy of your company’s state resale certificate is required.
TERMS - Net 30 days with approved credit (U.S. & Canada only). Allow three days for credit
application review and approval. Orders cannot be processed without an approved method of
payment determined. Catalog prices subject to change without notice.
CREDIT CARD - MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
WIRE TRANSFER - Required for all orders outside of U.S. and Canada. Call for instructions.
METHODS OF SHIPPING:
UPS, FedEx, or common carrier unless otherwise specified. If you prefer to use your own
courier, please provide your shipper account number. Every effort will be made to ship on
the required date and by the means specified. However, we reserve the right to ship by whatever means available to deliver order by date shown on the purchase order. First consideration
is given to speed and reliability, not cost. Freight is FOB, Hot Springs, AR.

All bands are custom made. When placing an order, please specify all necessary details,
including quantity, colors, size and style. Make sure to clearly state the latest permissible
in-hand date.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES:
Drop shipment fees apply for multiple ship to addresses. Please call for current price.
PRODUCT SAMPLES AND CATALOG REQUESTS:
Requests for generic imprinted samples will be filled from our available shelf stock. There is no
charge for these samples or catalogs. Your request will be shipped via U.S. mail. You may provide a UPS or Fed-Ex shipper account number for faster delivery.

Our first preference is an Illustrator EPS file with
text converted to outlines. Otherwise, you may

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Rubber is a natural product. Therefore slight
variations in color and texture are to be expected
and are not considered to be a defect. Rubber tends to stretch to some degree during the
printing and cutting process, therefore, not all
imprints will be perfectly centered.

Artwork can be placed on our FTP site or sent on
a disk, if files are larger than 5 MB. Word documents, faxed artwork, publisher files or art pulled
from a website cannot be accepted – a quality
print begins with quality artwork.
Customer Logos:
The manufacturer is not responsible for any
reproduction of unauthorized, trademarked or
copyrighted logos. Any damages incurred as a
result of unauthorized use will be the responsibility of the party supplying artwork.
ART SPECIFICATIONS
• Acceptable File Formats: EPS, PDF, JPG
• All fonts used in design submitted must be converted to outlines/curves or rasterized.
• Native and placed art files must be CMYK.
• All images should be saved with resolution no less than 360 dpi.
• All placed images need to be embedded in the native file and sent as additional files.
• All placed images need to be 100% of imprint size.
• All black text, line art and images must be set to 100% K to avoid CMYK trapping.
TEXT
• Serif Text – 7 point or larger
• SanSerif Text – 6 point or larger
• If 5 pt. or smaller text is required, text should be created from a single process color:

How to Measure an Ad Band
Unacceptable Art:
Non-digital art that cannot be scanned because of low resolution, such as business cards,
photocopies, faxes, or printed materials. Low
resolution digital images pulled off the internet
or customer web site are also unacceptable.

CUSTOM SCENT REQUIREMENTS
• Scent must be oil based 100% fragrance concentrate-alchohol free.
• Customer supplied custom oil must be accompanied by MSDS Sheets.
• Scented oil must be safe for human contact.
• Scented oil must be compatible with our base material - as hydrophobic as possible.
• Scented oil must be formulated to be safely processed at up to 400 F.
• We will need 12 oz of oil concentrate for every 10 lbs of bands; 16 oz of oil is requested for initial samples. Call for amount needed for your order.
STOCK SCENTS
• We have access to numerous stock scents.
• Call to check availability of your desired scent.
• MSDS Sheets for our stock scents are available upon request.

PACKAGING, SHIPPING & STORAGE INFORMATION
• Each band is packaged in an individual poly bag to vapor lock the scent.
• We pack approximately 600 bands per case.

MATERIAL
• Thermoplastic Elastomer
• Case dimensions (S-50) 19 1/2” x 15” x11”-8 lb case
• Normal transit methods are acceptable (UPS, Fed-Ex, Freightline, etc.)
• Fragrancebands should be stored in a cool dry area in sealed cases upon receipt.
PRODUCT LIFE EXPECTANCY & SCENT INTENSITY
• Fragrancebands will retain their scent for 30+ days after production as long as they are sealed in the individual poly bags
• Fragrancebands will retain their scent for 5 days after being removed from the individual poly bags
• Shelf life for displayed product is yet to be determined
• Some fragrances are characteristically more intense than others (i.e., cinnamon vs. floral)
• High humidity and warm temperatures increase scent intensity while low humidity and low temperatures decrease intensity
