IDSOK Olomouc Regional Integrated Public
Transportation System
The Integrated Public Transportation System allows passengers to make
use of multiple modes of transport with only one ticket.
Zonal organisation of IDSOK
Fares
Cut down on your travel expenses
The territory of the Olomouc Region is divided into tariff zones. Each
zone encompasses the territory of a single larger municipality (town)
or multiple municipalities and their local districts. The colour distinction
of the zones is for information only. There is no correlation between zone
colours and fares.
The fares are determined by the valid tariff rules depending on the
number of zones passed and regardless of the trip length or
number of transfers. This is however conditioned on adhering to
the validity period of the ticket. The fare increases with every zone
limit passed, or once the validity period of the ticket has lapsed.
The tickets include a reduced IDSOK logo.
IDSOK offers all passengers the option to use pre-paid tickets, which,
compared to other single-trip tickets, may generate substantial cost
savings to passengers who commute to work, school, etc. A month
ticket may save approx. 30 % of the price of a corresponding number
of single-trip tickets covering the given period of time. The amount of
savings generated by a quarterly ticket is 45 % for zones encompassing
a Municipal Public Transportation System.
The IDSOK zonal arrangement charts are available at www.kidsok.cz,
under the „MAPY IDSOK“ link.
How can the advantages of the system be properly
Where can I find departure information times?
A single source of information regarding the local bus and railway
transport is available at www.kidsok.cz, under the „JÍZDNÍ ŘÁDY“
(Timetables) link. The link also contains the timetables for all Municipal
Public Transportation Systems
Information regarding the integration of specific lines within the IDSOK is
available in the timetable heading and in the timeable notes.
In the territory of the Olomouc Region, the IDSOK combines, within
a single public transportation system, carriers operating railway,
bus and tram modes of transportation. Passengers may thus travel
on-board integrated trains and buses on selected lines with IDSOK
tickets mutually recognised by the individual carriers.
Public transportation thus becomes a competitor to individual
passenger car transport.
The IDSOK is characterised by:
• single tariff rates and contractual terms of transport throughout the
entire IDSOK territory
• single tickets
• mutual ticket recognition by multiple carriers
The ticket is VALID for trips
completed in these zones
The trip can be taken between the point of
purchase of the ticket and 9:33 including a
transfer, where relevant, to the Municipal Public
Transportation System in Olomouc.
The regular and discounted IDSOK tariff rules do not apply to trips
combining Zone 71 Olomouc
Provided that the time and zonal validity of the ticket is adhered to,
integration of lines into the IDSOK system brings the following advantages
to the passengers:
1. option to change from one carrier to another and their transport
vehicles within a single zone
2. option to change from one carrier to another including the transfer
to the Municipal Public Transportation system
3. e.g., the Zone 41-44 monthly ticket may also be purchased from
ČD a.s. while the trips completed in those zones and during the
ticket‘s time validity may also be taken with AUTOBUSOVÁ DOPRAVA

Single trip
Where can I get IDSOK tickets?
To travel by bus
• In zones with no Municipal Public Transportation operating, the
tickets are bought directly from the driver upon boarding the bus.
•In zones with Municipal Public Transportation operating,
except Olomouc (1-Zábřeh, 11-Šumperk, 41-Prostějov, 51-Přerov,
61-Hranice), single-trip tickets are bought from the driver.
• In Zone 71 Olomouc, one-way tickets are sold in vending machines
at the stops, by contracted sellers and DPMO outlets. If you board
a vehicle without a ticket in any of these locations, you may buy the
ticket from the driver at an extra charge. All Zone 71 pre-paid tickets
are bought at DPMO outlets.
To travel by train
• At stations that sell tickets, the passengers are sold IDSOK tickets
issued at their own request at an IDSOK ticket point (identified with
the IDSOK logo).
• At stations that do not sell tickets, the tickets are bought from
the conductor upon boarding the train. Passengers who do not
specifically ask for an IDSOK ticket when taking a trip with Czech
Railways (ČD), will automatically get a fare corresponding to the ČD
tariff.

Senior 65+ Organisation
The responsibility for organising public transformation in our Region
rests with the Coordinator of the Olomouc Regional Integrated Public
Transportation System (KIDSOK).
Public transportation is of critical significance to the Region. The
Olomouc Region spends roughly CZK 790,000,000 a year on public
transport services.
SMS ticket
All information regarding IDSOK is available at the KIDSOK website.
Examples of maximum exhausting of the ticket‘s
time validity
In Zone 1
A passenger who has purchased a ticket covering Zone 51 – Přerov,
may take any number of transfers within the above zone during the entire
duration of its validity, specifically 40 minutes on business days, and 60
minutes on any other day.
For trips covering multiple zones
A passenger travels from Zone 1 – Šumperk, via Zone
12 – Postřelmov, down to Zone 11 – Zábřeh. The regular travel time is
30 minutes on average. The passenger buys a 60-minute 3-zone ticket,
which allows them to take one more transfer, e.g. for a Municipal Public
Transportation line in Zábřeh.
