“The salt city”
TUZLA is the third biggest town in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tuzla is one of the oldest settlements in Europe. There is one of
the oldest lake settlement, dated from the neolithic period. It is
first mentioned in the «DE ADMINISTRANDO IMPERIO»
During the long history variety of different civilizations lived here : Illyrians,
Keita, Trachians, Greeks and Romans, Slovaks, Turkish.
Different monuments witness the long history.
The centre of the city is the place to show all different religious objects
as a part of multicultural and multireligious town.
The city of pannonian lake
"PANONSKO MORE“ the pannonian see, settled on the area of Tula, millions
years ago, left the salt mines and salt water.
Three salt lakes and salt waterfalls are placed in the centre of the town. During the
summer in the true touristic attraction.
Here you can also see the lake sattlements.
Salt museum in the town centre, keeps the history.

TUZLA today is a modern and urban town. There is a well known Tuzla
University, with lots of different departments.
