February 25, 2008 Thank you for your interest in Seventh Mountain Resort as a possible location to host your wedding. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you. It is our sincere desire to not only host this event, but also provide you and your guests with a most memorable event on your special day. Seventh Mountain Resort is located in Bend, Oregon (www.downtownbend.com) – the heart of the Central Oregon Cascades and the High Desert (www.covisitors.com). Bordered by the Deschutes River, Seventh Mountain Resort (www.seventhmountain.com) offers a campus-like setting surrounded by large ponderosa pines, lava rock and the rugged Cascades. Our condominiums, which feature kitchens and private decks looking out on to the forest, surround the core facility and are within walking distance to the meeting rooms, pools, Big Eddy’s Cafe and Deschutes River. There is ample free parking directly in front of each condominium. With two outdoor pools open year-round, 3 large outdoor hot tubs, a children’s pool, horseback riding and an outdoor ice skating rink, Seventh Mountain Resort completes the recreation aspect to make your wedding a vacation for you and your guests. In addition to on-property activities, the community of Bend offers activities such as skiing (www.mtbachelor.com), golf, world class fly-fishing, moonlight snow-shoeing (www.wanderlusttours.com), rock climbing, boutique shopping (www.theoldmill.com), outlet shopping, mountain bike tours, the well-known High Desert Museum (www.highdesert.org), and excellent restaurants and pubs. Located on the dry side of Oregon with an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, Central Oregon is easily accessible by air travel or car travel. The Bend/Redmond Airport (www.flyrdm.com) offers service with United, Delta, Allegiant Air and Horizon with direct connections from Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Los Angles, Los Vegas and San Francisco. For car travel, Bend is approximately three hours east of Portland over Mt. Hood and across the high desert with views of the Three Sisters, Mt. Washington and Mt. Jefferson. The unique feeling of Seventh Mountain Resort comes from its location, close to the mountains and close to town, its amenities, the dry climate, the sunshine, and a plethora of activities. I look forward to the possibility of working with you and planning your wedding. Please feel free to contact me anytime at 541-693-9110 or [email protected] to answer any questions you may have.
