At present it holds 80,000 books and subscribes to 120 periodicals. A majority of readers are students of pedagogical schools or studying teachers. The most important documents to be digitally processed are regional educational journals (e.g. „Kurenda” ) 13 Project participants State Archive Municipal Archive in Jelenia Góra was founded in 1927. Since 1945 it has been the Polish State Archive. At present it cooperates with our library by publishing posters in digital form. 14 Project participants The Karkonoskie Museum, which has existed since 1888, collects historical objects connected with the region as well as Silesian glass.
