A TIRO LIMPIO
With nearly 20 years of experience in entertainment,
Dominican native Celinés Toribio has become a household
name. Named by People en Español as one of the 50 Most
Beautiful in 2011, today she is a budding actress,
accomplished producer, and renowned philanthropist. Celines’ charismatic nature, lively personality, and natural
beauty led her to quickly gain popularity, very early in her
career, as a television and radio host for Univision and ESPN
Networks, where she was a presenter and host in El Gordo y
La Flaca and Sabor a Beisbol, respectively. Featured in
dozens of magazines, she went on to work with a number of
renowned brands such as Walmart and Jillian Michaels. In pursuit of her lifetime dream of becoming an actress,
Celinés moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and shortly after,
held roles alongside the likes of Michelle Rodriguez in
Tropico de Sangre, Edward James Olmos in America, and
Vin Diesel in Bandoleros, among others. Celinés’ interest in
the film industry and her entrepreneurial spirit led her to
found Esencia Films, a company dedicated to supporting
meaningful and rewarding independent projects. A firm believer in the importance of philanthropy, Celinés
has supported many organizations throughout her career. In
2005, she founded Latino Youth in Communication Arts
(LYCA), a NYC-based refinement and empowerment center
