WHAT IS ZINGERMAN’S ANYWAY?
Zingerman’s is a family of small food-related companies in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We focus on
traditionally-made, full-flavored foods. We are funky, fun and full of personality. Most of all, we love
to share great food with everyone. We believe when it's good you really can taste the difference.
Zingerman’s Deli started things off. It opened in March of 1982 with a staff of two, a small selection of great tasting specialty foods, a host of traditional Jewish dishes and a short sandwich menu.
Today our deli is known as a mecca for great food. Zingerman’s is now several distinct businesses
full of artisan bakers, cheese makers, chefs, candy makers and coffee roasters.

their dark magic on classic banana bread. Like our hugely popular sourcream coffeecake and magic brownies, banana bread instantly conjures up nostalgia for home baking. The thing is, this loaf tastes better
