1979 The first SOOIL pump is clinically tested at Seoul National University Hospital.
1980 SOOIL develops the first portable insulin pump suitable for everyday use.
1981 SOOIL establishes Factory Registration for the manufacturing of the SOOIL insulin pump.
1981 SOOIL receives its License to Manufacture Medical Devices from the Korean Ministry of
Health and Welfare.
1981 SOOIL receives approval for the DiabecareⓇ
insulin pump from the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA).
1981 SOOIL receives approval for Clean Lan lancets from the KFDA.
